Its a space race indeed. altough the bright yellow inside the gloves its quite weird for something that wont be visible most of the time.

They basically mean that they want it to fade with Pyro's suit. It looks weird when it doesn't match with his suit.
That is unless you just didn't want to bother with making it match perfectly, it's closer to what people think it should be in the least.
i believe its implied it will fade in with the suit.

Thing is, the medic's holster on the guard is the only holster that's gotten ingame, and i'm pretty sure no others have because they'll show the handle of a revolver. I can imagine a new player seeing a revolver on medic's waist and wondering why he can't use the ambassador instead of the syringe gun. And i don't really like stapling archetypes into TF2, it's supposed to be sniper carrying a pistol as a contingency plan, not sniper carrying an 1800's frontiersman's revolver, and he seems like the kind of guy who'd take good care of his kit.

the pyro has his grenades since day one as cosmetics and that has never been an issue. same with the Knife they gave to the heavy. its not an issue towards weapon recognization, but about scale.

The difference there is no classes use grenades, it's a rule the game over. Spy actually does use a revolver, so having one clearly on a class that isn't spy is suddenly muddying the waters. And promo items live in their own little world without rules, not a good plan to go off of those.
And as for how that relates, it's not supposed to be a quickdraw holster, it's just a holster to keep a contingency gun in. He's not going to be doing showdowns at noon with it, the only way he'll pull it out is very deliberately and as a last resort. So from there, why wouldn't he want to keep it closed off and protected?

It looks like it's just a single vertex that's messing you up. When you find it, remove all bone weights/vertex groups, and assign it to use the upper left arm bone. If it still clips, move the vertex away from the bicep towards the center of his body.

the stock revolver is far larger because you're suposed to be able to see it from a distance and because its based of on a [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Python"]Colt Python[/URL]. if you were to use a sidearm as a plan b, you'd resort to something far smaller and lighter, like any of the average handguns ingame.
what want to say is that, desing wise, you'll draw the viewer's attention towards that one single object out from the entire set because its the very first thing people will notice, wich puts you into a situation where you focus all the details on it or tone it down in size to it will balance it out with the rest of the cosmetics.

Im not a gun-nut, so Im curious :
What is the actual difference between a holster and a quick-draw holster? Obviously the straps / design of the holster for the gun itself is different, but my point being is that I dont see how in real life one can deviate too much from a design to hold a gun in its place for two very different purposes.
Its like a box. A holster stores an object. Its kind of hard to deviate from a box to be a quick-draw box or a box with a lid.
Just curious, thats all.
A quickdraw holster has a loose gun in a strap, letting you easily pull it out without any difficulties.
Normal holsters usually keep the gun protected or more safely attached to prevent it from getting wet, dropping it or such.
Imagine a box with a lid, and a box without a lid. :V

the hat feels of a lower quality than the other 2 items, super straight brim and overall too chunky
the other 2 items could use work too though, like the zipper on the jacket is super weird
