But you can't do that seeing as its copyrighted.
some of the old tf2 concept art influenced me to doodle this:

which is why i deviated from the original design.

You don't quite understand intellectual property.
they're not speakers, they're police lights. and anything inside of them would tip the tri limit too far.
*texture the inside of the sirens. If its just a flat plane, it will look invisible from most sides. Which is ugly.

quiet, you!
also, i dont see anyone complaining about the toowoomba tunic. or the Team Captain.

There's a difference between a reference and straight up a thing from another game.
Reference to another game:

Thing straight from another game:

Hate to burst your bubble guy, but tunics existed before legend of zelda did. As did peaked caps before Streetfighter.

hate to burst your bubble knight, but even on the official wiki it says it's a reference to legend of zelda, also it looks like one, see.

Oh yes, because the wiki is created by the people who made the item and not just random people who just make pages as fast as they can so they can get a Community Sparkle hat. It's been shown the wiki pages are just guesses the editors make and portray as facts.

there is no bubble to burst on my end, it was made as an intended reference to the zelda series, its just a generic tunic however so it works in or out of the situation. the wiki is semi-correct in the thought that it is a reference, but the design is rather generic.

You think somebody would do that? Just go on the internet and lie?
Honestly, I never had played the Legend of Zelda games so I don't know much but I did some searches and I cannot find a single picture of Link wearing a single garment that looks even remotely close to that tunic. Can someone show me a picture?

The guys that write the wiki tend to add in whatever they like when it comes to references, they don't seem to consult the guys that made the items or anything.

I looks nothing like Link's tunic at all.

Though in Twilight Princess he had some very very very subtle ties on the sleeves.

Which still looks nothing like the TF2 tunic thing.
since when did link have such massive thighs?

He obviously didn't skip leg day.

It's pretty untrue to blanket everyone on the wiki like that, there are a number of people that try their best to make sure that any unconfirmed things are removed. A lot of the time it can be hard to actually be sure who to contact for it on items with multiple contributors as well.
Honestly, though, it would be best if the contributors themselves add this stuff. I've brought this up a week ago in this thread (here and here, but I'll say it again, if you have problems with this stuff getting removed, just bring it up on the IRC or the talk page (or both, though the talk page is probably better for it), and it is much more likely to go on the talk page and stick on there.
The team captain is not only incredibly similar in appearance to, but also references lines by M Bison himself.
to say its not a reference is purely ignorant.
nintendo isnt suing Neodement for the Beep boy design, which is obviously and fittingly based on a Gameboy design, or cartoon network for the BMO basis.
or the horned honcho (Hellboy?)
i could rattle off a million more, blatant design rips or general idea, but why should I? doesnt really seem to matter.
Also, I'm going to talk to Ironwolf on the Titan forums if he/his guys get their hands on the CoH IP, Which currently actually seems pretty promising
If I cant get permission from them or NCSoft, or if you guys are right and its too much alike, I'll release it solely as a mod.

No one is saying they aren't references, but at the same time those people don't own the rights to peaked caps, tunics, handheld game systems, or devil horns.
What you made is with out a doubt something from another game, its the same design and everything which you don't own the rights to. Saying its just a reference is ridiculous.
I want this mask in TF2 as a mod or a item in the Steam Workshop.
A Concept art I made.

one might argue that they dont own the rights to police drones.
