I fixed Spy-Medic, so he'll no longer crash the game. Additionally I gave him the Medigun backpack, considering things like Quick-Fix and such already exist in the game and add a backpack.

This is starting to look more like that mod that adds the corresponding classes things to the Spy disguises.
Was that ever updated? If it wasn't I can update it later, when I finished with this thing.
I believe this is the one? http://tf2.gamebanana.com/skins/75705
It's pretty much outdated.
I need a video of this in action, it looks brilliant.

This belongs to media, but it has my last model in it so wanted to show, and maybe using it as bonus promo picture. Had fun doing it
Also wanted to ask about painting items. That beard is supposed to be grey, as I edited the VMT in the SFM folder, but instead it is PURE SELF-ILLUMINATED WHITE. Do I have to do something special after editing the VMT?

Semi relevant,
This model was compiled with eyes that move the eyelids when the eye controllers are moved up and down. Does anyone (read: neo) know the QC info to achieve this? I've been looking forever but have never been able to figure it out.
Pretty sure it's all right here:

I´m not entirely sure, but it could be the camera bloom.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is too, but I've never been able to make it work correctly. Was hoping to get an example of it used with a TF2 class to better understand it.

Sorry, I actually have no idea how I did that. I'll update it to work with the latest TF2 though, so don't worry about it RealFierce

If you don't mind me asking, what hud is that?
Also also:
Do you need someone to make the 2D elements for HUD and whatnot for that? I could do it if you wanted.
Well, yes, it's frankenhud, i could always use some help
since there is that one hhh playermodel lying around, i drew the hhh with some of demoman's hats. As well as grenades/sticky replacements.

Made a thing, void is texturing.
It has facial flexes, jigglebones, all that jazz.

Is there any way for hiding model's parts (like grenades, backpacks, etc) in SFM?

Right-click the animation set and go down to 'set bodygroups' or something along those lines.
Is making backpack icons for the importer fully possible with gimp/pdn or do you have to get photoshop?
Would it be possible for anyone to make better gib models? I haven't really liked the gibs we have on Tf2.

wasn't there a project like that
Wel, i think i kinda fixed the dispenser, normalmapped it and shit.

But it looks way too shiny, any ideas?
Is making backpack icons for the importer fully possible with gimp/pdn or do you have to get photoshop?
I use GIMP for my backpack icons (and almost everything else), so yeah, it's possible.
EDIT:
Oh, and also. Log.

Rigging sucks though, the back of his neck is all wonky.

mod release!
also, the item was re-uploaded to fix authorship and to fix some lod stuff, in case anyone was wondering. so if you voted for it before, make sure to vote for it again.

Is there some specific way to make sure the layers that have to be black or whatever are? In my extra layers tab, I only see R G B and I think colour.

The item just needs to have transparency around it, no need for alphas, or black layers.

When exporting/saving to TGA, remember to UN-CHECK RLE Compression.

You of course also have to stay within the constrained limits of the backpack icon proportions.
