Worth noting that Crowbar can grab jiggle info too if you feel like using that

That was my thinking too, but as the votes show, all one colour turned out just plain ehh.

I think if i quiet the paint tone down on the stripes version it'll look alright with a few paints. Most items only look good with a finite amount of colours anyway
