Wait, How is possible that Valve Didn't screw it like when the friying pan and the Poker night items came out and they were craftable? Also the warning about the Items loosing their Genuine Quality it's still there in the Tf2TP
It's learning from us. :ohdear:
They're right - this update really is from hell.

At least I finally got my optimisation update, and I can now play badwater coherently. :unsmith:
At least the Pyro is getting a decent weapon. The Axe apparently causes infinite afterburn with the initial 50+ Damage from the Swing.
Rong will jerk off to this dialogue.
Well the Genuine does stick with the weaponry, so unless its a bug, right now the weapons have somewhat value.
Well, i liked this blog post, because it was...funny, I mean, the scout response, the heavy living on a mansion, it wasn't just a blog post saying "yeah join this tournament and look this new theme" or just "preorder this game now and get items" , ther eshould be mroe blogpost with stuff like that (some jokes about the characters or a little conversation with them)
Great thing there are craftable because I will not pay for another generic MMORPG to get items for TF2.

This reminds me of the old blog posts. Wish they made more of this stuff.
Shitty update. Shitty blog post. Shit shit shit.
Shitty update. Shitty blog post. Shit shit shit.
The update may be bad but the post was like classic valve.
The update may be bad but the post was like classic valve.
You mean them trying to be funny whilst jamming shit down our throats?
You mean them trying to be funny whilst jamming shit down our throats?
No need to be so negative.
"Aw, they're going to have to glue you back together, IN HELL... AGAIN"
I remember when TF2 had a visual style. [editline]4th February 2011[/editline]
Great thing there are craftable because I will not pay for another generic MMORPG to get items for TF2.
Nobody forces you to buy anything for items in TF2.
Shitty update. Shitty blog post.
Blog post maybe, but the update aside from the lame weapons isn't too bad. If it wasn't for the inclusion of *ADDED NEW UNFITTING PROMO ITEMS WITH REAL STATS* it would've been an all-round nice update.
Yeah, the weapons stole the show, the rest of the update was actually good. I also liked the blog post until they made Scout crazy for the item... which he sent them back without opening... but suddenly he opened it via Engie Teleport Technology or something. I know it's their character, but judging from what I saw ingame and from "Meet The Scout" I don't think he would suddenly fall in love with that... spiky... stick thing.
Nobody forces you to buy anything for items in TF2.
Well these ones have unique stats so it's a little bit different this time.
Well these ones have unique stats so it's a little bit different this time.
Except that they'll be on the craft list after the promotion period is over.
Except that they'll be on the craft list after the promotion period is over.
For two refined and an axtinguisher. [editline];[/editline] Funny ratings? Why funny ratings? I'm being entirely serious here.
Would you rather them be exclusive to those who purchase Rift?
Would you rather them be exclusive to those who purchase Rift?
No, but I don't wanna spend 2 refineds on a weapon I can see it, first the item will be added to the store and crates, one week later they will add it to the drop system and crafting
No, but I don't wanna spend 2 refineds on a weapon
So much for getting a Headtaker, then.
For two refined and an axtinguisher.
Following the pattern we've been going at I'm going to say one refined and an axtinguisher.
Well these ones have unique stats so it's a little bit different this time.
Different, yes, but they are not unobtainable for non-buyers so it does not matter.
Following the pattern we've been going at I'm going to say one refined and an axtinguisher.
What pattern? The Nasty weapons don't require much to craft, and they're the most recent items to get crafting recipes. It'll probably be Skullcutter + Backburner = New Axe Flaregun + Boston Basher = Sun Stick And both will be in the drop system (most likely)
And both will be in the drop system (most likely)
Just like Crit-a-Cola
