[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/SZkPWPp.png[/IMG] click the little ellipsis button by normal map in the "maps to render" section. then change the coords to "X+ Y- Z+", which flips the green channel.

With goggles, the hologram eyes stand out magnificently from what is otherwise the weakest angle.

Honey" on it or something, spice it up with visual interest, as well as lightening the lids up a bit to not look so muddy. I'd also suggest making the rope that holds down the lid a little bigger, seems to small for something in TF2.

Buttons would definitely be nice. I think you should try to be unique about your buttons though.

The ones running down the torso and on the elbow bends
