Would anyone here happen to have a copy of /materials/models/player/items/taunts/whoopass_can_dont_ship.vtf
I need it for my archives and stupid me, I forgot to make a copy of stuff in the VPKs.
I already got it working. I just exported the textures as TGAs, then re-imported them with vtfedit.
I need to get some comparison shots done, but tf2's model viewer claims that c_items doesn't exist so I cant load up any of the weapons.
Just create the folders within "tf/models". I'm wondering myself if there's an easy way to create all the folders within "tf/models" without having to do so manually, or without having to extract everything from the VPK, then go through and delete all the models manually.

I did Google it. Only got two results, and both were from the TF2 Wiki (English and Korean patch diffs)

I think the contrast with everything else would be really funny.

1214 tris. Gotta change a few more things, but otherwise it's ready for rigging.
Hey Constructor, any chance we can get this set as a mod release (or at least the SMG)?

Or a really bad scout drink.
I'll mod release it when Karma Charger is online and he gives me the sounds for it :)

I tried merging animations with another model with a completely different bone structure without changing anything to the original sniper model/bones. This was the result.
Are those timesplitter animations?
for grabs

Can someone fix the ribbon on the blue team festive eyelander looking like plastic? The lighting looks really off, yet the red team looks fine under the same conditions.
Okay so I might need some help. I have an idea for a gun that'll probably fit space theme we got going on with a bunch of these items here.
Only problem is I've never made a weapon before for TF2 and I might need advice on what to do with it when the time comes to try to get it in-game.
My 3D modelling training from school trained me to make technical and functional drawings, so a gun will be easier to make than a hat for me, so that part won't be a problem. It'll just come down to detailing the damn thing and whatnot.
But in any case, before I start, is there any advice anyone has to give me?
if i could just throw something out there, try a lot of pumps or something?
Was that Hitman promo shotgun ever hexed for the stock shotgun?

After some more changes, I'm happier with my soda bottles. I've added a third, re-positioned them (still clips a little though :( ) and most importantly of all actually managed to figure out cube maps & alphas so that the glass looks glassier than the not-glass. (and I used the more compact blue logo)

Next question is: Should I make it multi-class (demo & soldier)? I don't see a point not to, seeing as it's not really a pyro-related item.

Hey guys, remember way back when in Emporium 58 when I posted this, about the Bioshock weapon sound mod, how the shotgun pump didn't play the right sounds?
after almost two months, I finally figured out what was wrong

that file needed to be "forward", not "foreward" :v:
funny thing, huh?
Has anyone considered making a the medigun, uber, and building sounds from Experation Date into a in-game soundmod?

Dont forget to give it proper smoothing groups, placing sharp edges where applicable.
