Another progress shot on the badges & magazine for Pyro's pocket. I feel like the popsicle badge could be a little low, and I've no idea what's wrong with the face on the band but that could be an issue with the size I'm working at. As well, I do not know if it's majorly noticable in the picture, but there's a custom Hat-Wearing Man! magazine made by BlindSniper17 with team variations. [t]http://i.imgur.com/TCb8bqL.png[/t]
any chance to make that strap more like a strap and less like a random tube made of rubber? right now the item's concept seems rather odd, if not random. maybe instead of attaching things to the pocket's model, you should make a new pocket and add the pins and the piece of paper as a features into the model.
Looks chunky and poorly textured.

Still WIP
some preview pics on classes the trim is paintable
...

but thoughts and improvements?
Perhaps you might also want to update the texture of the Magazine to reflect the model's geometry so it doesn't look all stretched out. The decal badges are a nice touch, but I don't think Valve does decal items anymore. It's entirely wasted potential on their part, but you could work around this with more personalized badges or something.
make the nozzle comically large like a cartoon look at the odor-b-gone can for inspiration
I was using the odor-b-gone can as a refrence on how big it should be Here's the final product [t]http://puu.sh/9IMGd/b5d975b300.png[/t] for texture (which I have no idea how to make for an untextured model) I have 3 designs to choose from, help me decide? [t]http://puu.sh/9IPlC/8ee7076a60.jpg[/t] - pacman for this one. [t]http://puu.sh/9IPIU/4d652fbab1.jpg[/t] - hearts for this one. [t]http://puu.sh/9IPuv/38600dcbe2.jpg[/t] - rainbows for this one. all of them will have a black tip and the "scout lime green" parts will be paintable. if you think they should be paintable put a green check, if you think they should be clean put a red x. thanks for helpin out.
Working on making an item on my own for the first time. [t]http://puu.sh/9IPC4.png[/t] Get to have some fun re-rigging and moving stuff around tomorrow, oh boy: [t]http://puu.sh/9IPFv.png[/t]

Mostly the positioning, I'd love to do something with the pocket but you literally can't expand on it too much more without there being more clipping than normal. I'm really fond of the "adding stuff onto X" concept though, so I'll either potentially do the same thing but on the engineer's and soldier's hats or just plain move on to another concept. Items come and items go I guess. Edit: I'm personally not fond of having to scrap it though, mostly because of Blindsniper made a cover already, but I can find some other use for it.

Bountiful Glue. . . the result of someone saying "Horses ruin everything" with my reply except for glue on the Facepunch server earlier today. [T]http://i.imgur.com/7x80ArC.png[/T] Was annoying trying to find some old glue jars and bottles as references and was planning to draw different bottles for different classes: Even the Engineer having a bottle in his pouch, yet I'm taking a break from line tooling the rest.
helpin ikes out w/ his heavy item
Thoughts? Also probably for V2 i'll do what mat500 said but for the sake of having this fixed i'll just release this as is for now.
Will it be a fully red shirt or will there be a brown pattern in the middle to fill in the vest I suggest making the middle colorscheme brown. Mostly so any clipping wont be noticeable with similar colors

Thanks for taking that into consideration though. I think it would be better for you to start fresh or do whatever would get you a better item, as opposed to sticking with your current idea if you aren't liking it.
Camera beard and the Mutton Chops and Pipe are disgusting. So please not that. Makes me wonder how the mutton chops would be if they were sculpted a bit or done differently.
honestly most other beards kinda look like a piece of clay attached to the merc's faces, namely the scotch saver, the all father, and the marshall's mutton chops.
okay now that the spray-paint model is finished, how do I make it replace the pyro's grenades :v:
Halloween is a few months out but I can't help but start thinking of concepts. :v: I've been struck by an idea or two. Would you all care to see 'em, or is it still way too early for you?
never to early
some preview pics on classes the trim is paintable
Oh my god the scouts hair is so amazing. (Sorry to just pop-in)
never to early
Okay, so I was thinking about how I could re-make the demon spy set I made for halloween last year, and this is what came out. And it's nice that I had the idea now because with my current knowledge of facial flexes, if I started it today, it wouldn't be done until mid October! [t]http://i.imgur.com/J1jv00K.png[/t] Of course, I'm working under the assumption that Valve would fix flexes by then.
some preview pics on classes the trim is paintable
Looking at all your workshop submissions, Im genuinely surprised a lot of them don't have a lot of votes. They look fantastic.

you could directly put the magazine rolled inside the pocket and have the pins show achievement icons. you'll add a nice bit of lore to somehow ilustrate that the pyro does keep track of the achievements by means of adding these pins each time he does something he wants to conmemorate. that way you can make it a bit more unique and casual, and would really set it apart from the already existing flair.

Heres some shots of coat for heavy ive been making. Bands on his sleevs just normal mapped, so theres some ugly stretching on the backsides. Does it looks too bad, or I can keep it as it is? [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27653108/heavy_coat.png[/thumb]
What about brown patterns?
it's gonna have a flower pattern. possibly yellow.
