Alright, I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to ask this, but if I'm trying to import a custom model into tf2, why is it having the vmt loaded yet still coming up a missing texture?

does your vmt point to the correct texture file? you might've moved things around and accidentally forgot to update it in your vmt

vmt looks good from what I can see, I think I've had a problem similar to this before, can't remember how I solved it though

But as the pictures show, you're not supposed to wear a tie with that style of waistcoat as it looks too long. Normal waistcoats cover it up at a higher position.

Make sure that you import the VTF as the correct version and have it placed in the right directory (7.5 doesn't work in TF2, some versions of VTFedit import as 7.5 by default so to set it to 7.4 if its not set to that already) .
As for the T-pose and mismatched items, you'll need to manually match the model up with the wanted class in any modeling program, then re-weight all the bones to the custom model yourself.

Looks like they're both the same, except the one on the right is converted to tris. Theres no difference otherwise so I dont see why you would use the one on the right. Compiling the model automatically converts it to tris anyway.
