I just downloaded maya 2013, jumping headfirst into 3D modeling career.

the demoman looks fine, that's just the way he is.
Walking home and thought of a Taunt concept idea. Typing it out for anyone to use, Don't got any pictures yet to show or anything. Feel free to steal and upload when the workshop supports Taunt uploads.
The taunt is a Cowboy Showdown Taunt, Someone starts it and an enemy (or Ally?) goes up like any other taunt like R.P.S. or Flip. Both characters walk 4 steps away (insert how many Hammer Units you can find acceptable) before they turn around and use something to fire away at the enemy.
-Scout and Engie use a Pistol
-Soldier tosses a Gernade at the enemy
-Pyro uses a Flare gun
-Demo tosses a Bottle
-Heavy uses his fingers
-Medic uses a Syringe or something
-Sniper tosses Jarate or a Dart/arrow
-And Spy uses his revolver.
Whoever doesn't fire falls over and dies/explodes and The victor cheers. Not sure how Allies would work besides having it be a form of Team Kill
Lets just hope the taunt importer will support multiple character interactions like the Conga does.

I would also put the pants a bit more above to cover his belt. Looks pretty odd currently. Probably making the white color a bit less white as well, put a color that almost matches scout bandages on his hand.

How hard would it be to make a sweater that goes past scout's hands? I wanted to make a sweater that was too big for him to wear.

Maybe making the model smaller? Or better, make the top white part getting smaller by the length. I'm not sure how to explain this well.
Anyway, in the part where it collides with the scout's shirt, make it's smaller, and by going down, you keep making it bigger, until you can get the correct size for the red part of the model.

i would think the loser does an over the top death animation, and then gets up once its over
I feel like the Scout should get some class-clown taunts.
For example;
- Making paper airplanes and throwing them.
- Shooting spitballs or rubber bands.
- - (Can use laughter lines and "Classic Scout" line on hits)
- Receiving a wedgie from other classes if they join in quick enough during those previous two. (Can use death screams / other pain sounds for Scout, laughter from the other classes)
