I'm drawing up a Scout concept and I'm redrawing it on a front view, would you guys like me to draw it on both RED and BLU team to show off the team colors, or would only one team suffice? I'm limited to MSPaint at the moment, so it means I have to redraw it for both teams. If you have any better programs that wouldn't take too long to download then I'm up for suggestions on those too. The team colored parts are supposed to be rubber, while the grey areas are supposed to be metal. I'm also making a neutral rubber colored version too, have any suggestions on a good neutral color?

Does someone know a nice guide for the weapon and hat creation using 3dsmax (and if possible WallWormTool) ? Most of the guides are outdated since the SteamPipe update. If possible a guide that shows how to skin to the bone because when I decompile a model I only have the reference and phys model, not the bones :(

Like I get it is rolled up, but you'd have a lot more bulk on the coat arms with it being above the elbow and it also being a thick fabric, which you can probably solve by having it below the elbow. But that'd might make the sleeves bit a bit trivial, design wise.

With the moon map coming up (and probably a few space themed cosmetics), wouldn't that make the "Doctor Galactic" halloween item set's restriction obsolete? Would be such a shame to have those items restricted while theres other space themed cosmetics that aren't, it'd seem very unfair.
Hey everyone :) Been gone for aaaages, been busy with exams and whatnot. I made that crate with a parachute and never released it as a map prop, but I have an arse load of time to do that and make things now. The undershirt sleeves specifically in my opinion look really out of place for the set theme, same for the epaulets. Even if we had wanted to do with your design, its basically impossible for us to do it. Stev is really good at modeling and saved as many polies as he possibly could have, and we basically cant add anything else, we have like 6 tris to spare. Its is not our fault, it is Valve's for setting the poly limit so low. It would be much better if it was a 2000 limit and not 1400. If valve ever ups the limit then we could consider. For now, just hold onto it for us, and we'll just see what we can do.
