Valve does not accept anything that is based on the Balloonicorn. Thats why the original Reindoonicorn didnt get it.

It's still a shame that it was removed, it was nice to have the models have different textures for the Soldier and Pyro.

Anyone with experience texturing weapons interested in helping out with 3 for a punk rocker heavy set? A Minigun, Ice cream sandwich and Knuckle weapons. Two of the three have paint concepts, the minigun is less developed but you could have some fun with it. It's themed like a BoomBox so I'm thinking stickers and crap all over the drum.

I'm trying to make a 1950's Sailor-esque Pyro, and I need a model for a primary.

I don't think there's an updated compiling tutorial? If there is, it's news to me.
Either way, it doesn't take much. I'd suggest using [url=https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Help:Model_Viewer]this[/url] to actually set up HLMV for TF2, and then just running your QCs through studiomdl (which is in the same folder as all the HLMV stuff) through the Command Prompt. The only other updated ways I know of are compiling directly through Notepad++ using the NppExec plugin (and I have the right lines you use in the Execute window for this if anyone wants it) or compiling through [url=http://steamcommunity.com/groups/CrowbarTool]Crowbar[/url].
