Not related, but how about the ability for people to name the mods themselves within the program rather than having "x.vpk"? And of course a "sort by enabled/disabled"?
Oh, yes, I forgot about it, thanks. Just made it. Now you can edit titles, descriptions, categories and other mod data.
Okay, time for a ridiculous halloween concept: The Momma's Boy. I wouldn't mind if anyone thought it'd be better for Spy, mainly because I just can't decide who it'd be better with! :v:
scout version for sure.

When you guys make shirts and jackets do you try really hard to match the underlying mesh or just model however you want and adjust it as needed?
can anyone post Gibble's reference pics again? I can't find them anywhere
When you guys make shirts and jackets do you try really hard to match the underlying mesh or just model however you want and adjust it as needed?
the first, if you don't want rigging to be hell
I'm not sure if this concept has already been done but: [t]http://puu.sh/a7kQT/0ee6009340.jpg[/t] I was thinking about instead of "Mrs. Teufort" it could be "Mmph Teufort" but I dunno. Feedback is appreciated. (Open for claiming.) [sp] I'm gonna make a new one [/sp]
Quick question that I feel would be best asked here because maybe one of you guys contributed it: Anyone have any idea what "models/workshop/player/items/pyro/hw2013_mummy_eyes/hw2013_mummy_eyes.mdl" was? It was removed in the November 1st, 2013 patch (currently hunting around for the model, materials and backpack icons that were added for Halloween and later removed in the patch) but I can't quite figure out what the item was. Hoping someone here can shed some light on what the item was and maybe why it was removed.

Kinda sucks to have an item halfway into the game then to have it removed.

I believe you can still see it if you check the Halloween 2013 package. Unless it was the crate.

I don't think we got an official reason for why it was removed, but it wasn't included in the any of the Halloween stuff other than the bundle's backpack image, so it was probably just accidentally shipped after they decided to not include it.
all-class halloween boxer shorts? anyone? up for grabs if anyone's interested [sp]I know it isn't made well[/sp]
Ahhh...so no real reason as to why it was removed. Damn. Looks like an awesome item too. Welp, off I go to use DepotDownloader to download the files from the October 31, 2013 patch to obtain the models, materials and backpack icons for it for my archives :v: Juuuuust whistle while you work....WOO WOO
Can i get some opinions on this item design?: supposed to be a regal dress suit, since demo is a prince or whatever.
I made a halloween concept *edit, the concept has been claimed by OldAperture
Technically, wolf spiders don't spin traditional spider webs, and they don't dangle from threads. They're more crawlers and jumpers. Other than that, neat concept! Just be aware, it might have poor chances considering how many people suffer arachnophobia. [editline]11th July 2014[/editline]
Went back and re-doodled a super old concept of mine: here is the old version for comparison if you would like to laugh at it: [sp]Its about 3-4 years old. Christ, have i really been concepting this long?[/sp]
I'd love to see a nice leather jacket for the Demoman, if only because I'm trying to slowly turn my Samurai Demoknight into a Shadowrun style Street Samurai. Would the arm bands in the new concept be necessary, though? I kinda feel like it reads better with just the rolled up sleeves in the old concept.
Kenshin, I'd recommend mixing the shape of a Missulena and a Mature Scotophaeus blackwalli, whilst making the abdomen bigger to get the stereotypical creepy spider look.
See, I personally am way more creeped out by smaller, sleeker spiders than I am by big fat ones - so I'm actually not sure what would be better! I guess it depends on how creepy you want to be, and whether you think the stereotypical "creepy" spider is actually creepy! If the wolf spider aesthetic is key, I'd personally recommend an oversized nursery web spider - they look very, very similar.

Some japanese armor: only one gauntlet because it can't work around that watch worth a damn.
Some japanese armor: only one gauntlet because it can't work around that watch worth a damn.
I once tried to make a watch go around that watch and it was just not having it. i know how you feel, even though this is a concept rather than a model.
I once tried to make a watch go around that watch and it was just not having it. i know how you feel, even though this is a concept rather than a model.
Making a watch to go around his existing one isn't that hard. Exhibit A: [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/432656005864228012/6A3FD89A2B2E86049311A6C0042EEFD2A21770BF/[/t] The crappy part about the sniper's existing watch is that it doesn't twist with his hand, so making gauntlets that fit as tightly as kibble's would be incredibly difficult to rig.
i really, really want to see more items based on retrocitrus.
i really, really want to see more items based on retrocitrus.
whatever happened to him? I haven't seen him 'round these parts for a good while now.
