serious greg came up with a cool alternative, an mvm shield and reviver thingy styled bench. Vote for the one you'd like to see :) agree for [t]http://puu.sh/abvh0/546a1cfe50.gif[/t] heart for

Been meaning to make one as a Flying Guillotine replacement. Caution, be sure all filming equipment is secure before throwing.
This year's Halloween shall be the Halloween of spiders
Turn the back part upside down, because despite that's the realistic version, nobody will be able to tell the difference between the spider model used in the maps and the cosmetic.
I can imagine a taunt where the spy gets out his balisong and starts doing tricks with it, passing it from hand to hand, then throwing it in the air and quickly putting it away as he catches it. Tricks like these: Could just hold it down and keep doing a loop of tricks until you let go and put the blade back.

I mean with the engineer it's a bit more believable, being that he's a handyman, he constructs things. It was easy with the toolbox because it acts like a magic hat for the engineer. With the medic, it's a bit more complicated when he mains around medical marvels. That being said, the mvm shield isn't exactly medical, so hell maybe it'll work out fine.
The UberCharge isn't medical either, it's just an all-around MvM Shield.
yeah true I guess. It's just a shield and ubers is a bit different from something like a bench.
Another Silly Taunt: Snack Break 1. Soldier stops what he is doing and drops his weapon 2. looks left and right suspiciously 3. grins and starts digging in his pockets 4. pulls out a spoon and a can of beans and sits down (one of soldier's raccoon appears behind him, glancing at the can.) 5. Soldier shovels some beans onto his spoon (the raccoon now begins to climb up his back.) 6. (the raccoon now peers over Soldier's shoulder.) Soldier is surprised by the raccoon, then feeds it some beans. The idle for the taunt would swap between soldier taking a bite or him feeding the raccoon. [sp]bonus points: if its a full moon or Halloween, the raccoon is a zombie.[/sp]

Honestly medics inventions have always revolved around the idea of protecting teammates, and a holobench doesnt really do that i mean engis buildings revolve around sitting and doing nothing while the buildings do the work so it at least makes sense engi is cocky enough to make a chair on a battlefield
have medic sit on his medigun??
to make a point to the people who say using a mouse is hard, i decided too make a simple taunt doodle without my tablet. it's not perfect by any standards or even good but it definitely proves that with a little more effort, anyone can draw a decent concept The Botanical Bot-maker 1.engineer grabs robo-box 2.engineer drops robo-box on the ground 3.engineer drops some oil into the box 4.robo flower sprouts from the box 5.flower is fully grown and engineer gives thumbs up end of taunt would most likely have the flower be destroyed like when the engineer destroys a building, gibs and such everywhere.
These are some great concepts guys. Just saying.

Quick Radaghast Commentary: Dude, STFU. I am in the same boat with only using a mouse, Remember that concepts are needed for being a refrence point when modeling, Yada Yada. Mostly everything everyone else said. Also, If no one else takes your concept; Do it yourself. If you can make something from that concept, Alright? It is a bad concept if someone has to put in more work and effort so that they got something they can make the item off of. See below as I have done two of my concepts being produced by myself in Lightwave and Blender. [sp] Spy legs on hold until I can get Lightwave to not crash on me anymore [/sp] [t]http://i.imgur.com/094ZAlx.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/d39mxJF.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/xCzWRul.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/jhUl4fW.png[/t]
Speaking of taunt animations, I'm working on one for the sniper. It's not very fancy, but I thought it would line up ever since I saw those polaroid pictures of targets in the meet the sniper video. Just blocking poses for now, trying to nail down the timing before I start refining poses and then switching to curves. So far, rough blocking tells me it's about 109 odd frames, which is bound to change once I set down to refining.
if you're still looking for a suggestion on this, i'd say make him pick a bullet from his vest and carv a mark on whatever primary he has equiped at the time.
Here's a Halloween item concept two buddies and I came up with. It's up for grabs if anybody wants it. Just add me on Steam if interested. Oh, and add a comment if you do, I have a buttload of adds already. Sorry if its too big btw.

That blood bag concept I posted above is actually the first concept art I've ever done in photoshop itself, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I hope to come up with more ideas so that I can further improve though. I like your concept by the way. Very simple, yet very intricate.
Does anyone have the files to this mod?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/jhUl4fW.png[/t]
this model looks pretty bad. especially the beard part. I can't put my finger on it. perhaps if you could post a wireframe/edit mode picture of it I'd know better
A wip of the Heavy. I worked on him the same day as the Pyro, I should be able to finish both of them today:
This looks great! Looking forward to the finished product! ...although I can't help but see a resemblance to Batou, from Ghost In The Shell.
A much more serious taunt concept this time (but sadly still in MS Paint) [t]http://i.imgur.com/as6Nniv.png[/t]
if i was a more commited man i would claim this [vid]http://puu.sh/abKa0/d2db4f871f.webm[/vid] i'm actually really tempted to make more, i just made this as a test, but there's so many. that's be like 3 animations per class
Is there a tutorial on how to make a shirt cosmetic? I don't know how to "wrap" a shirt around the character.
Is there a tutorial on how to make a shirt cosmetic? I don't know how to "wrap" a shirt around the character.
Boneweights and matching vertices. If you use 3ds (I think) it can kinda automate it for you.

I knew that the model was going to be top notch since I haven't used Blender in a while and preferred Lightwave. [T] http://i.imgur.com/y0JlSAL.png [/t] Most of my work was trying to round it out and hide the chin, I liked the various lines since it seemed like hair strokes. But I do know how much of a mess it is while working with it and figuring out the software.
Yow, that is quite a mess.
Yeah, Guess I should clean it up later... Took me too many techniques and looking around to finally smooth it and such. There goes 5 hours of work @_@
