I was thinking of using waterlogged for a concept I did but I'm not sure if changing the team colors of the class is a good idea.

Something more on the King of Scotland Cape vibe. The crosses can even be made using the watterlogged pallet and it would have a nice contrast, IMO.

Someone then went and converted it for TF2 but did a shit job with the VMTs which caused the models to look like well-lubricated plastic. The different skin thing may be a result of someone reskinning the one you made the alpha channel for to make it more TF2 friendly, as the one you quoted is the original skin.

Here's something I'm wondering. Why hasn't Valve separated the Heavy and the default bandolier and turned the bandolier into a bodygroup? I've noticed a few things to do with the bandolier: - The Borscht Belt literally sits over top of the normal bandolier. If you're on a server with the !tp third person, you can look up at the Heavy from the ground while taunting and literally see the bandolier underneath the Borscht Belt - The back of the Bolshevik Biker clips with the bandolier a little bit - The Warmth Preserver clips with the bandolier on the Heavy's left side (under his arm) If I knew how to do this properly, I myself would convert the bandolier into its own SMD file to be included as a bodygroup, complete with jiggleboning for a moving bandolier. And based on equip regions, it would be hidden (like for the Borscht Belt).
Basically, Valve doesn't want to add more bodygroups because it affects performance, plus that would means effort from them.
