if you want rigging advice for 3ds. this is all i can really say. weighting tables are your biggest and best assets for rigging. you can edit each bones overall weighting right there and then and perfect them to however you want.
weighting tables are what made rigging the medic balaclava that much easier, i could match the weighting values perfectly with each vert on the medic himself doing this.

I already have a saturn-esque design on the belt, but I'm not sure I want it. I have two other ideas for the buckle, so wrenches for stars, clocks for saturns, rainbows for moons.

I have the miscs pretty much down pat, but I'm wondering what to do with the head. I'm thinking a small bubble helmet with a rebreather of some sort. I'll mock up a quick concept here.

can you make this a saxton hale mod when it's ready?
I'm only releasing it as a mod because 1 or 2 of the people here wanted it.
I will always upload a finished (or not so finished) model as a mod even if only one person shows interest in wanting it to be a mod.
However i will only upload to the workshop if i think it's worth it. This item is not in my opinion worth workshopping.

the shoulder and hand miscs make the exposed arm models in between look lanky and too thin. maybe do something to make his arms look thicker or do something to the misc to join them making it look baggy? i don't know its just the exposed arm bits seem off.

if you're going for a bowl-like helmet, i'd suggest using a desing that both connects with the rest if the body and integrate it with his shirt and/or works well with the rest of the shirt/vest items the scout already has.

honestly, the color in all 3 of them just doesn't seem quite right, but if i had to pick i would say debonair.
If you're using blender, the transfer weights tool is one of your best friends. You've also got to remember that the mesh itself needs good topology in order to properly move

not sure avout the tshirt and the mask.

I would love to have CSGO's sticker system in TF2, actually.
Anyone have the link to the TF2 class in reference pose without their hats and grenades for concepting purpose? Every time the link is posted on any Mod Emporium, it isn't in any of the expansions.

There's also killstreaks and item qualities of course, but being able to paint certain weapons, adding stickers and such would be nice

I meant stuff like the Lolichop, Scorch Shot, Candy Cane and GRU. Just a very few selection of weapons.
Maybe even the lights for Festive weapons.

Yes of course, tought my main objective with this would be to bring attention to items that deserve attention but don't always get the attention they deserve.

You coud also make a Top 10 TF2 Item Sets Episode, or maybe Themed Episodes like Top 10 TF2 Summer Items etc.
