How well would you guys accept a top 10 workshop items of the week video series?
someone made one once but his choices were generally pretty shitty. I made sure to thank him when my stuff showed up though. It really all depends on your commentary and presentation.
Working on texturing the Overcover now. I need help on deciding a good base color. I'm torn between these three. (Ignore the still-shitty rigging)
You should fix the rigging first.

Relating the choices, I'll be fairly different and have in mind model quality, details, etc. I'm also thinking of making a "different" method of commentary...
How well would you guys accept a top 10 workshop items of the week video series?
Been doing that for more than a year on my website (http://tf2.cz/). Not as a video but just an article almost every week. Even though its a crappy czech website I think I got some people to rate items they would have missed so I think you can do wonders with popular videos. Good luck!

Well I'm all for a top 10 list of workshop items. I still would would like to know ideas for a third cosmetic for the set I drew up and of course I would credit you for coming up with the idea, so don't be afraid to post.
the shoulder and hand miscs make the exposed arm models in between look lanky and too thin. maybe do something to make his arms look thicker or do something to the misc to join them making it look baggy? i don't know its just the exposed arm bits seem off.
yeah, i noticed this and added sleeves. The Doctor's Drawer
whoever does this needs to make the door jiggleboned. maybe it could reveal a severed hand inside? who knows. Oh, also, would anyone want to do normals for this set? Edit: Decided to go a new direction with the head item.
A WIP of one of my projects I'm slowly working on. Still messing around with color schemes a lot. Checkered areas are paintable on the shirt. Gimme feedback yo.

Then again I can't say much. Good job still.
Sighs is there a good tutorial on rigging for 3DS Max? I'm having a tough time getting the Overcover to perfectly match the Spy's rigging. I'm almost ready to give up and hand it over to someone else.
Is there a certain character limit when uploading items to the workshop? If so, what is it?
This took like, less than 5 minutes: Had it for 3 months, mod release soon. Texture moves around, too. (It's like a gold skin, but with a rainbow texture) EDIT: Mod!

Would anyone be able to help make LODs for these sleeves? both fiveeyes and I are stumped on how to do it. all i gotta do is UV the sleeves and whatnot and if you were to help id send it to ya

How many tris is that anyway?
can anyone tell me their steps when rigging a shirt item in 3ds max? I know you can use the skin wrap modifier and change some settings, but what about after that?
You could flatten out the saturn on the belt buckle, and remove some edge loops that run length wise in the shoulders and cuffs. How many tris is that anyway?
the belt is a different item, and the sleeves are 1302.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/EbN9Xnj.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/dX9axth.png[/t] Knight demo stuff. I know NOTHING of rigging, so does anyone want to help rig the armor? Also texture artist would be cool
the belt is a different item, and the sleeves are 1302.
Just edge loop the sleeves.
Just edge loop the sleeves.
Nearly all of it is in the gloves.
