Sorry for asking again, but is the quality loss when importing in-game items to Blender too noticeable?
I know there's a loss, but I really need to adapt cosmetics to my custom player models.

what do you mean by "quality loss"? You're always too vague. I don't know much about Blender but I can't imagine you'd "lose" anything at all unless the importer is like completely broken or doesn't transfer hard edges or something

Do you think it's like taking an image and saving as a jpg over and over again? There shouldn't be any noticeable difference after fixing the smoothing in Blender.

Well, that's what I'm talking about.
I know Blender breaks the smoothing when importing, but I have no idea how to fix it.
That's what I'm asking, if the smoothing break is too noticeable.

Had a ton of fun working on this set, hope you guys like it!
FUCK! Amazing.
IN game shots would be nice too.
it's great but you probably should have saved it for halloween
I also can't tell how the items are divided at all, your thumbnails aren't very clear
I'm still having the error where .fbx files I export from 3DS Max are shrinking slightly in respect the object's pivot point. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
the nose ring bothers me that it goes through the bridge of the nose.
I had an idea for a heavy set that consists of a bandolier of sausages, a bloody apron, and a over sized meat hatchet and a meat grinder minigun.
That wario pyro voice mod I talked about earlier...

I have to say, it's very impressive and very well done on both the models and the textures, but it doesn't look like something that would belong in team fortress 2 in my opinion

The art-style and texturing works out and the modeling looks great in my own opinion. I think it would suit TF2 pretty well but hey, we all think differently.

He can probably just resubmit when halloween rolls around.
Besides, the only really halloweeny thing is the horns - the beard and the battle armour both seem ok.

Those are some sexy beard and armor, but the ring and horns just... were made for halloween, I guess.

Select edges - ctrl E - mark sharp - add edge split modifier - uncheck by angle. Done.

Re-releasing this here on FP for the second time (previous time was in an older Emporium and the image I made for it along with the download have long been removed by me)! Emblem size clocks in at 434 x 434 so they're high res. Some of the beta emblems had to have some touchups done (i.e. the Soldier's "Helmet" emblem had hard edges so I had to touch that up, same with the Scout's beta emblem), one of the Pyro emblems had remnants of the other team color in the pixels so I touched that up too. I'd love to somehow convert these to .SVG because I'm a fan of the .SVG image format, but I've never used or even worked with .SVG images before.

Got any screenshots of how it look with the Chargin' Targe/Splendid Screen? I'm hoping it clip less than the Whiskey Bib.

Pyro is the easiest one to do out of all of them, less voice lines plus most of his/her/it's voice lines are recycled for other things, like taunts for one. Which reminds me that I have to go back working on a voice pack.

You sure?
Cause now the mesh looks like, super "edgy", and not smooth at all.
Also, would be it hard to make some shirt cuffs? Like this one?
[t]http://www.bivolino.com/ImagesSSO/French%20round%20cuff%20men.jpg[/t]
But as in, only the cuffs, like those stripper guys (which I'm not posting posting for obvious reasons)
the tuxxy i figure is sort of the same idea.
Yeah, but I want to do it on my own, as practice.
It doesn't look too hard, so I think a novice as me could do it.

I just find it kinda hard having to find a line that is fitting for both iterations when it is recycled. Take the "Go right". It is "Ya hoo!". I made the go left "Wa hoo!" to be the sort of opposite and I made sure the "Ya hoo!" works for the pyro hadouken taunt.
I don't have a right to complain, but I'll finish it soon hopefully.
