it's just i like crediting people and i don't want them thinking I've used them and gave them the bare minimum.

On the other hand, people voted for an item that literally did nothing except remove the grenades bodygroup. So maybe some people like a bit less visual interest. For whatever reason.

Is there a command or QC activity that the game reads so that headshot/backstab animations have a 100% chance to play, or simply play when getting killed by anything?

you could disect the player animation files and see if there's a command to play that animation on backstab, and change backstab/headshot to just any type of death

Busy weekend, didn't get a chance to make progress on this until today:

Slightly concerned about how the lens colours make it look like pyrovision goggles (especially the BLU one), so those will almost certainly change.
Only base colours, no smoothing groups yet, no flexes yet. Hologram == paintable.
not sure if I like goggles at all, I kind of liked how it was just a face in front of his face.

Oh, I didn't know that was on workshop, you made it seem like an item added and removed the bodygroup as it was added. Speaking of items that only just remove a bodygroup, I wish they added a hatless soldier

It's not atm. I don't remember if the importer will let you use $nocull or not, but I seem to remember someone saying that Valve won't accept items with $nocull anyway due to it increasing the number of drawcalls. If I want it visible from behind, I'd have to add some geo to it.

Well in all fairness, we do have three cosmetics already implemented into the game where all they do is hide a bodygroup.

It's silly to me to make a workshop submission for it
the team likely knows full well people want no grenades and no solder helmet, plus ned and the other guy said they didnt actually do anything other than make a bp icon and change a string of text. so crediting them for it would just be silly
