The engie has a time machine because in meet the engineer he's playing a song from after 1968, so he must have used his time machine to get a portal gun and reverse engineered it to make it really, really small and efficient.

Well technically since the density of the soldiers rocket launcher is not much, it gives it less mass.
Therefore, giving it more space to hold rockets

That was the stupidest fucking thing I had ever heard of in the UT universe.
They also could've done a fuck load better with the single player so it wasn't the same fucking gametypes in a so called 'storyline.' At least make it a Goddamned tournament like it's always been, or give the damned option. Or, shit, make some unique, linear levels for the actual storyline part. I don't give a shit if I've got to do some side 'missions' in normal gametype levels if I'm rewarded with interesting non-standard maps/levels occasionally.
