They've actually been perma'd from Ego servers (among countless others) because they were playing too well
Why the hell do they do that? That is one of the stupidest ban reason I have heard of in a long time.
Hate it when clans do this on pub servers, GG do it all the time on the GTFO server, just stack one team with themselves as best they can and make the whole experience quite crap.
When I was in a clan in Day of Defeat Source, we had our own server to play on, anyone else was welcome to play, server was pretty much always full, and is still going now (Smokin Noobs / House of Noobs).
People obviously have been talking to the wrong comp crowd.
You get asshole comp. players in the same way you get asshole pub players.
Pub players are not all Godly polite, and not all comp. players are rude jerks.
I scrim a lot, and I've had no issues with anyone. Even when I played Euro Div 3 medic I didn't get that impression.
People play the game as they want, nothing wrong with that.

Go into ego and say, "Fuck you" you'll get perma'd
They compete for money, so when they say its a job they mean it. They always participate in big tournaments to earn money, same as CS clans, or Starcraft, you can make decent money by winning tournaments.
Isn't it reasonable for someone to do something they love, for money?
Anyways my experience on an eGo server recently:
One of the mods' name was Nate,
I was like "dude, i saw this facebook group called nate higgers"
User was banned for this post, Racism
it's really all just opinion. imo, i feel how the competitive point of view is. They want to get better, And once they get the hang of winning, you keep going and going. God dayum. Vadi, you are fucking lucky. haven't met a single comp player yet D:
"...Because he invented it! And he made sure no living man could best him in the ring of honor!" - Meet the soldier.
They're just following what the soldier says D:
On a side note, I love that meme
fucking x, how do they y?
I'd like to be competitive like that, but autobalance likes to mess with me.
Go into ego and say, "Fuck you" you'll get perma'd
Hell, you could probably say "fuck me" and get banned, too.
On a side note, I love that meme

There isn't a y, because it's 'work' everytime.
Fucking memes, how do they work?

oh great
Well they either have nothing better to do or are extremely passionate about the game

You can change it up from time to time, at least I do.
Fucking women, how do they cook?

I've never seen anything other than 'work', up until now. :v:
But okay.

For Team Dignitas, I'm gonna guess it's the former

I've played competitive TF2 a lot. I've stopped. People are always freaking out over how competitive players are assholes, but actually it ain't true. If you keep the fun inside of the team and if you ignore the few teams that actually are a bunch of morons it's fun. It's just a different way to play the game, it can be cool sometimes.

Just scrims or were you in, like, CEVO-A or anything like that?
its always easy to steamroll the other team if you dont have teammates that go pyro/scout/sniper, but instead go medics/soldiers/heavys/spys with communication can rape anything. besides a better skilled team like complexity
edit : but yeah no doubt complexity players steamroll better because they play for money.

You're sort of missing the point
These guys can roll over pretty much any team in North America on a good day
Just scrims or were you in, like, CEVO-A or anything like that?
Started with scrims, ended up in ETF2L div4, in a team.
I've yet to meet a terrible and horrible person who plays comp.
The guys I know, are willing to help and all.
Carnage told me he plays singleplayer against bots on hard with 3X timescale to work on his reaction
holy fuck
just tried that(at hard), my team won in few seconds and the bots can't do anything.
I wonder if doing that help at being better player
Started with scrims, ended up in ETF2L div4, in a team.
Wrong continent in that case, my bad.
i think it's hilarious to train until you're like a god and fuck everybody up in a pub game.
Before you know it people are going to be hosting lan parties and then in a back room area hundreds of people are going to be placing bets and such on players. What is the world coming too? :gonk:
i think it's hilarious to train until you're like a god and fuck everybody up in a pub game.
have you ever done it?

There are already LAN parties, but gambling doesn't seem to be a problem.
have you ever done it?
no. but people's reactions are amazing. hong kong people are even better.
training until your a god at any game then rocking a pub game makes others think you have a aimbot, thus increasing your ego and epeen.
I had been on a server like this, its funny because we steamroll them!
I had been on a server like this, its funny because we steamroll them!
just watch. some dickwad will fuck it up and start stacking teams, then the whole server will leave. i've seen it. used the server for achievement farming afterwards.
one thing i hate about games like cod4/css/tf2 is that you have teammates to depend on and i can never find friends or players that would want to do comp crap, let alone people around my skill level or better.
but i love doing 1 man bootcamps by going over a friends house and playing a game all night and all day just to try and get better.
doing shit like that at home doesnt feel the same.
