RollerCoaster Tycoon was actually meant to be another Transport Tycoon sequel, but Chris Sawyer once again made the AI batshit insane and it built crazy curved tracks instead of a straight lines from point A to point B. Coupled with the new engine's capabilities, the map eventually ended up looking more like an amusement park.
And thus RollerCoaster Tycoon was born, got a ton of expansion packs and sequels and Sawyer never cared about Transport Tycoon again.
And today we we have TF2 and DOTA 2...

They should probably build them into the client then, though there may be copyright issues concerning some of the musics. Then again Valve could probably afford to grab a few licenses here and there...
