Yeah, I just tested it on Turbine in 5 minutes I got more kills than I have ever had with regular market gardening.

Presumably not since the Flamethrower damage would be overriding the Cow Mangler 5000 damage.
Like how lighting someone with the Degreaser for 2 damage a tick and then hitting them with the Flare Gun will set the afterburn to instead be at 3 damage a tick. Most-recent afterburn source takes precedence.
