my only concern with this is, unless they want to spend 5 weeks+ refitting every hat for this they need to change the hair, because the afro will cause issues.

I feel its too strongly feminized all together, she seems too formally dressed for someone of demo-man's state, and doesn't reflect the emerging 1960's time period culture, i personally prefer makani's design:

The demo women in your photo resemble 70's-80's mostly to me. Their skin tight suits don't look like anything worn in the 60's. To me her skin tight suit, afro and headband just screams 70's to me.
While the one max posted looks more like an older sixties woman with that hair and fits demoman's body type. I just think she should ditch that big o skirt
I do like the one Mankani posted the attitude and the look and the character, she has but it seems really skinny and would almost need a whole body remodel to look right in TF2.
