I've yet to see someone try to cosplay as GG2 characters, if you're looking for a challenge :v:
I've seen a Tenta-Spy cosplay (it was pretty nice) couple of years ago, and awesomely he gave me a card for finnish TF2 cosplayer group, Allusion, since I was cosplaying as Engineer (Not exactly 100% accurate).
I never really got so much motivation to actually contact them, only visit their dA page (I know, sounds pretty douche-ish, but I've a bad habit of leaving things to be undone if not done soon enough).
If I ever get enough motivation, I might upload this one picture where my dad insisted on me holding bigass wrench at home.

I personally don't see the interest in playermodel mods because there's a metric ton of cosmetics you need to adapt if you do the slightest change in geometry (since so many cosmetics are rigged to the original mesh, down to the millimeter). And considering how often new items get released it's hard to keep up.

its more or less the desire to see something new in the game, or maybe people dont like the way something looks, so they replace it with something nicer to look at or something newer.
same reason all the effort put into the fempyro and any other female class for that matter. i guess this also applies to weapon reskins for any game, and even 'hd remakes'.
