I've seen a lot of people cast professional TF2 games or do some kind of crazy in-depth analysis on competitive demos and matches. I for one am not a competitive TF2 player, BUT I do enjoy the pub games and I decided to take a crack at a new video idea called Let's Watch.
I'm not too sure if you guys will enjoy this but I wanted to create a new show where i'd turn on the good old facecam and i'd be spectating a random pub game and we'd watch every player and the whole match together. I had a lot of fun making it, so hope you guys like it :)

-remove yourself from the video then. facecam serves no purpose on a cast since people and yourself will be more focused on your face rather than whats going on the game.
-18mins of pubasting is really too much, consider to limit yourself to a shorter timeframe or even better: edit your content so only the best will be displayed. i'm pretty sure most of the time you really had nothing to say about the game.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to reply, I really do appreciate it.
Now I wanted to address the points you made via numbered answers so it's easier to follow along:
1) It's technically not really casting, i'm spectating a game and following people around and reacting to the silly antics that go about in pub games. Now the facecam problem is that most of the people that DO watch me want to see a facecam on everything, i've had people specifically want to watch for the facecam and i'm most likely going to stick with that when doing content like this. I guess it's supposed to be an entertainment factor, if you see a point in the game where it isn't as entertaining, then watch the facecam because I usually want to offer another level of interaction aside from gameplay.
2) I actually was concerned about the time, the biggest challenge when spectating a match and commentating is that you never know what's going to happen. I agree with you on editing the footage, you'll see the changes in the next Let's Watch.
But you did inspire me to try out a new method, i'm going to cut every recording to about 10 - 15 min depending on the match and i'm going to make a bunch of them and just pick the ones that are the shortest and most entertaining.
3) I see what you mean by relating to it, I guess during the first pubcast I was looking at random players and trying to link them to the overall team's progression. In the future i'll try to work on the relation to commentary part.
4) Oh yeah, I need to go ahead and do that, thanks for bringing that up :)
5) I talked about this in 2), but editing the footage is something i'm going to end up doing.

sounds like the laziest way ever to make lets play videos, if anything. guess there's audience to anything then. it might fit "your audience", but if you want to reach public in general you might as well try something more apealing to everyone(and i'm pretty sure that is your goal).
