I'm no farmer but I do think that it is for checking if the cow is pregnant. At least I remember watching something like that on Dirty Jobs.
Makes sense, I guess. I recall seeing a similar thing in some film about some sort of genetic engineering project that ends up going awry and producing some sort of infection that renders humans infertile. I forget the name of the movie, but the whole "Dirty Jobs" thing makes me glad I'm not involved in livestock.

This is most likely animated by hand. Except for maybe that dangling cable underneath, but even then it's better off animated by hand.

It's the suspension, the springs contract and retract as the locomotive tilts.
Other than that, the airbrake hose and destroyed side plates are visibly jiggleboned (look at the roof).

It's actually visibly WIP.
The most obvious thing, the textures. The plow is especially bad.
And the bogies still need work. Those are rail truck bogies, not locomotive bogies. They can't actually transfer any power to driving wheels or brake efficiently.
