heh, good one.
This is the pettiest thing ever but that honestly really peeves me when people use "shoot-em-up" to refer to FPS's
Well the servers that STAR plays are basically shoot-em-up for him.
heh, good one.
SHMUP is a somewhat-accurate term. There are many a time where this: [t]http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/e/e9/Dustbowl_s3c1.jpg[/t] feels like this:
That's more of a bullet-hell though
Out of all the actual professional gamers and competitive games, they choose STAR and TF2. Is this a joke? Pretty early for April Fools'. Like really. That's just such a bizarre focus for an article on the matter.
i'm actually confused about this Tech article. The video is a somewhat half assed introduction to videogame streaming and twitch as a form of entertainment -wich to be honest i am not sure if its an introduction for people not familiar with the concept or just someone's impresion on the thing, most of it its really poorly articulated. it has NOTHING to do with Star_ then whe have the story wich is again another half assed introduction to video game streaming being presented as a new sport(?) and star_ featured as one of the examples of people making a living out of it. with the wirtter claiming at the end that he actually hooked his computer to twitch.tv and played team fortress 2 "after months of not doing so" to make a stream, wich might be the reason why star_ was chosen to be featured on the article. that, or star lives in boston.

He's lived in Boston since last autumn if my memory serves.
that solves the mistery.
