Both characters are slap-bang in the middle. This can feel unnatural to look at as your eyes automatically fall to the right or left of the image. Now if we move them over to the right a bit... (Sorry had to enlarge it a bit)

It begins to be a lot more easy on the eyes.

And all we have done is put the right line over the medic. It doesn't matter that spy is in the center as Medic is the main focus here.

Although you don't always have to follow the rule of thirds, it's usually a lot nicer to look at an image if the subject is placed off the left or right a bit.

I wasnt arguing it was fine far away. I agree it's better following RoT. I'm just saying don't bank on it, as it's nothing with lots of empty space leftover.

I know what you're saying with the 100% perfect bit, If you had posted that image when SFM had just been released you would have gotten a lot more praise for it, but now its just another basic poster.

I don't know, the lighting in most of the scenes suggests otherwise. Which would be even more impressive if he managed to do stopmotion in sfm.
