I [I]really[/I] shouldn't respond, but as somebody who was there from the start of this project to the end, I wanna say some stuff. ASP was actually pretty nervous about the reaction to this video and whether or not the time he spent on it would be worth it - which was about a few months next to side projects. He was on a budget at the time but he was stilling willing to pay Duke for the voice acting a few months ago, and he asked me for assistance with some of the scenebuilding and lighting. He made a point not to overly offend any audiences - when he asked me what to put on the shelf in that video and I said a fedora, he refused. He wanted something both sides or no sides would enjoy. He tried to keep things as Looney Tunes cartoon violence as possible (though that's debatable) since he knew kids would probably stumble on his video. He [I]knew[/I] there would definitely be a shitstorm in the comments, and he was expecting some very angry MLP fans as well as some of his own to basically shred his video apart.
I'm not saying this to change anybody's opinion. I get that people don't think he's trying based on his animation quality, and I'm not gonna agree or disagree on the level of quality because I don't want to start shit - nor am I going to say this is on his behalf because it's not, he's a grown ass man who can speak for himself. I just wanted to say some stuff as a friend since regardless of whether or not a handful of people like or dislike his animation quality or his sense of humour, he has been trying.

This entire scenario sounds like he cared more for making an mlp video that wouldnt ruin his image rather than make content that anybody could like.
My issue has never been his animation quality, i legitimately respect his ability with the tools at his dismissal. They arent the best around but they're nothing to scoff at.
a la make it the same tier as every other video, which is twitchy screamy humor that's on par with shaking keys to entertain a baby.

Every video he uploads at this point, he's worried about the reactions he's going to get (even if he seems caustic about it; he does enjoy making these animations). Even in the past, he was worried that Dusty and Raikujo would refuse his proposal to voice act for Just Ask Her, and he was asking a few people on how he could improve his animating and tried to apply them for Time Bender and Brooding-Ninja-Animu-Deviantart-Sonic-Scout-OC. It's not so much ruining his image than more "I tried, but I guess people just want one thing from me". His caution comes from he's been typecast for a certain video that he's expressed not wanting to do as much anymore, but that's what people want to see from him.
As for his sense of humour in his videos, I can confirm it's his sense of humour. That's pretty much it. Again, not trying to change anybody's opinion, you're allowed to think and say what you wanna say. You can PM me if you wanna gossip a little more about one dude on the internet though, rather than have people respond on how we need to stop cluttering an open thread about videos or video creators available to the public for discussion on open threads.

There's a couple of things I wanted to do with the nose that differs from the Black Pack Scout reskin. Either way, I dunno if I can do a simple lips retexture to make the lips look fuller but I'll try it out!
