I hope you don't mind if I use this song for a future video, because it would fit perfectly.
I hope you don't mind if I use this song for a future video, because it would fit perfectly.
Sure! I would like to see how it sounds in the video.

Could also work as potential campaign music when the enemy capture your intel, and you must prevent the decoding procedure for opening the briefcase before the time runs out.
i lost that crack fortress 2 video, i hope anyone got one in their favorites or something
i lost that crack fortress 2 video, i hope anyone got one in their favorites or something
is this close
Woop, made some more TF2 music :)
The only reason why it sounds like TF2 music is because you got the right instruments. I feel like the music itself has no structure whatsoever, it sounds like a bunch of unrelated snippets placed one after each other, and there is no harmony at all. It lacks the punch real TF2 music has because there's no real build-up and as a result the whole thing sounds quite monotonous and doesn't really convey any kind of emotion. I wanted to like it but I just couldn't, sorry.
While I agree that it does sound like random snippets mixed together, that's exactly what background atmosphere is, coherency through a clear chord progression played out by a regular accompaniment would make it stand out. Most of TF2's iconic music, like its main theme, or to me, "Medic!", or "Rocket Jump Waltz", are very simple, consisting of just a chord progression played with a constant, stubborn rhythm accompanying an instrumental melodic voice in the high end (though this can be said to be the formula for most things).
I feel like the music itself has no structure whatsoever, it sounds like a bunch of unrelated snippets placed one after each other
Well, actually, there were no really story behind this track, I just wrote what I had in mind :v:
It has that Total Annihilation feel to it. Makes me imagine a TF2 RTS.
Polygon's Bayonetta 2 review was one of the funniest things I have ever read.
It was hella funny specially when you then get side articles of "sexy characters" and I just gotta go "huh...why the fuck am I listening to these folks instead of just watching folks play the damn game..."

Reminds me of the nonsensical BOING kill confirmation sound in CnC Renegade and RenegadeX.
On the topic of silly sound mods, it's always fun to have your own weapon yell at you all the time.
Dat Win 3.1 sound for the Nucleus CP shell opening...

There's a lot of other units that would make great sound mods such as Demoman as Yuri and Heavy as Boris.

Does anyone have the image they used in the background in Spys Smoking Room of him with a tribe in the forest?

Really comedic and well done, but god damn the animation. I really hope the animator/director/whatever is improving his animating skills, using almost only TF2 stock animations is butts.
