turbo system on the bump cars things is terrible to be honest. I don't think I want a map where you have to coordinate you boost and drifts so you don't fall off.

Well im currently working on Bowsers castle (Double Dash version) but i wont post any pictures yet since all i have is the big spirally ramp and some road pieces (straight, 90 degrees and u-turn) (No Mario Kart textures here folks)
maybe there should be more TF2 Specific tracks. Also I wanna make a TF2 Monopoly board for Board Game Sim.

Although I agree the boost system is terrible. It should be a reward for doing something (i.e. hitting other people like in Burnout games, or powersliding like CTR (and Mario Kart? tbh never played a Mario Kart game)), not just a timed thing. As it stands it's for the most part all about holding down M2 till the finish line.
I love Mario kart and Crash tag racing as much as the other guy. But I think we still need to make some tweaks to the bump cars dash system and drifting so it can actually be enjoyable. It felt so weird to me the first time I played the bump car mini game because I'm not used with playing racing games on my computer.

Dam is a tiny skybox model, sadly. Although i guess someone could scale it up and retexture it.

Bumper cars were made just for that, bumping each other out of small rinks. Their controls are tricky on purpose. Racing games should have tighter controls than that, thankfully Valve supplied us with all these awesome convars to change their behavior. Drifting would be tricky. It kinda baffles me how you can jump in your car, but it has no purpose - in CTR, it puts you in a powerslide, here you can't drift at all. Also if you get mad air, especially if enhanced with a well-timed jump off the ramp, it's an unwritten rule that if there's boost to be gotten out of anything, this is it. But nah, in TF2 it plays the sound of your legs breaking, nothing else.
