we should also get some team battle type maps. I mean at this point it will be like other cart racing games, just we gotta tweak the bumper cars, I mean I wouldnt mind if some maps also include under water bits as some people know of the glitch of it being a chance of merasmus casting the underwater spell just before you switch to the bumper car game causing the bumper game being completely underwater.

I think we should already start improving the car mechanics used and especially add more fun stuff to them, such as the ability to use weapons, adding more gimmicky powerups, "balancing" the cart so we can put them in the middle of an almost-normal TF2 round without it totally breaking/unbalancing the gameplay,and why not making an original gamemode out of this.... Things like fireball, teleport and bats would work like shells in mario cart. Hell, even the purple spells I can see working pretty well.

It looks really cool but I dont think thats a good way to hold a sword imo. Maybe make the sword go downwards instead, with the tip touching the floor. Otherwise thats some top notch image

Eventually.[/QUOTE] May sound silly but if this is meant to be a hangout map it couldnt hurt to make that blue/lobby section more of a hangout spot with a larger place sort of like most trade maps if you want to add more things to do on the map. Unless it's meant to just center around the track, which looks fantastic, in which case just leave it plain

Class specific karts would be really nice, it could add much more personality to the mode. Would be a shame if it wasn't possible.

I could see some sort of Mario Kart-esque system for each class (sorta), but it would have to be balanced in a way that doesn't make kart games scout rushes. Maybe... Soldier, pyro and demo are all-rounders, Spy and Scout all-or-nothing pick classes, Heavy and Sniper are based on positioning, Engineer and Medic support classes that avoid direct combat. You might notice this is heavily based on CTR system, but Mario Kart is also very similar. Each class could have a chance to roll for their own special powerup. Also we need a thread for this shit.
