How do I make SFM not lag? I've disabled ambient lighting and occulent inclusion but it still lags to unbearable extremes. Is my computer just hopeless, or is there any other ways to boost performance?

Welp first SFM piece I'm really proud of, it's a commision for a pal of mine and I thought it was pretty cute anyways.

I saw that there are so many birds now. There are even more if you count the freedom staff the Blighted Beak and Robochicken hat but just actual birds so I went into SFM to do this. I saw the Eagle and the Robin weren't there so I just did this in Gmod which I am not so good at...I still thought you guys might like to see it.

If you copied the newest content into SFM it would be under workshop.

Whenever I see a teleporter being deployed at spawn I immediately drop what I'm doing and switch to Engy to upgrade it.
Makes me wonder if people get confused when they see their teleporters are Level 3 when they get to the frontlines.

Download the user made GCFScape tool (in a nutshell enabling you to look at in game contents). After you've set it up to recognize the .vpk files containing in game contents (which are hidden in your Steam folder by default until you set up GCFScape) look in your "common" Steam folder for the directory files of Team Fortress 2 while in GCFScape. Then, use the "extract" option to copy the files into your Source Filmmaker "/tf" folder.
Extract the directories the, "tf2_misc_dir" and such with GCFScape then copy them into to the tf folder in SFM.
