I´ll admit that the skins on Stevehs does need some optimization and some cleaning up in general, the skin system is still very new to the server. The process will be slow but hopefully in the future it won´t be as bad as you said it was.

second picture, dick model and everything in that album doesnt exist in stevehs server
first one is made by someone on server
everybody can upload stuff they made. so its like fpsbanana
stevehs server models are located at models\stsv\playerskins
other ones are your downloads or models you downloaded from other servers.
im a moderator at there and it can suck sometimes with community but don't judge server by the models community made and you can't buy/wear skins yet

Not really as they are really badly made being honest, smoothing errors, oversized textures and the fastdl isn't even fast. Forcing clients to download 800mb~ of content that wont be used is punishing.

it's 250mb. still too much but
we are going to fix that thing anyway. we added some rule to submitting models thing. whoever did these giant textures and unoptimized stuff will have to fix them and they will get updated.

True that.
I guess I own an apology to that, we are still working on making the skins more optimized and smaller. As for not being able to use them, honestly most of the skins right now are staff exclusives and tests.
Soon enough we will have more skins that other players can use, including the ones they make and get approved by our developers.
Once again, the server is very new to skins and is still working on making them both look decent, and have smaller file size.
