Looks like they finally fixed it. I haven't got this problem anymore and I haven't seen it happen recently.
I just found 5 new items all at once, and they are NOT items I already have.
Steam Cloud fixed itself for me 2 days ago.
I'm still finding items that I shouldn't have found because I've already hit my cap, also it doesn't give me the weapon but I can equip it until I die right before round end or at random.
STEAM CLOUD......
Also, I noticed this started happening after the MW2 unbans....
