Just incase someone has changed their mind, or if by a stroke of luck, I gather the attention of a great modeler who wasn't here last time...
I'm going to yet again request someone to attempt this pyro taunt :v:

Pretty please with a cherry on top :3:?
I think it's possible Simski, it would require alot of time though and some small scripting to my knowledge atleast. I'd do it if I could animate.
Hey the cape+gunboats doesn't work for me?
They work, but occasionally they randomly disappear.
is for queers
And by that, you mean "I can't use it and/or I don't bother looking up how to"

Make one of those Download image things. and making them stop clipping in his hands for a v2 would be cool.

Ah yes... I consulted him whether it would be possible or not.
I do however think he might be too busy with his circus/animal project though.

It should knock him backwards when the big flare launches. Or at least make him fall.
It should knock him backwards when the big flare launches. Or at least make him fall.
Would take too much time.
It has to be synched with the pyro kill taunt, therefor the before animation can't be too short, and the animation after the fire can't be too long. The flaregun tapping/slamming would synched up with the pyro moving his hands, and the flaregun shot would synched up with the usual fireball.
There would be little time left for an animation after that.

A - Real men use the batch compiler, they don't need no sissy UI
B - Actually, for v2 I'm going to make a muzzleflash for both guns. (it'll be a model muzzleflash ofc), and the clipping is just him holding it tightly. It's just that little bit of fat beneath your thumb that contorts when you hold something tight enough.

make it fire early, and make the fire start small and get bigger. Gives him time to fall and get up, while still having a fireball in the hitbox area.

I use the guistudiomdl. It's what the cool kids do bro.
Is what little tiny baby men do bro.
Why not take the full leap and go use some no-GUI version of Linux?
Because that's not just dragging a file onto an executable.

A: That's a yes.
B: Either it's clipping, or you're trying to convince us all that the scout has seriously out of proportion thumbs. You still have my DL, but god...

The thumb IS wrapping around it, I just checked. There isn't any clipping (besides a very small amount that's there so that it doesn't look like he isn't actually holding it)

Dude, you're not thinking this through :P
Firstly, my idea is set to match the original taunt.
Yet to involve the flare, and to make it somewhat funny by implying that the pyro is causing a practical flaregun malfunction.
Having the flare appear before it could kill anyone would merely be confusing, not to mention of how it would make no sense having it standing still in midair for no reason.
The flare is supposed to be just as brief as the regular fireball.
Having the pyro fall over would just look clumsy, not to mention how it would be too far off from the original taunt. It wouldn't look very good.
Noone's commented on my sexy dual beta muzzleflashes? :emo:
Too cartoony.

This is TF2, and they're the exact same ones from Trailer 2
