You need the Texporter plugin for this method. Google it if you don't have it.
Well it's circular/slightly cylindrical so:
1) In the modify menu click "Unwrap UVW"
2) Maximize the Unwrap UVW box and click "Face"
3) Ctrl + A
4) Click the edit button in the rollout
5) Click the cylinder button
6) Align X/Y/Z whichever looks best/easiest to draw on
7) Close UVW Window
8) Utilities tab
9) More...
10) Texporter
11) make it 512x512 in the rollout
12) Pick Object button and click the shield
13) Save the image that comes up, you'll need it.
14) Back to the model, press M
15) Click the box next to diffuse
16) Select the thing you just saved
17) Now, click the two boxes labelled below

18) Check the model is now wierd/different colours
19) If so, save and export SMD.

Scratch that, how do I properly load it in 2010 by clicking the button next to the diffuse thing? I click the box and a crap ton of lists pop up, by the looks of it they are different types maps/textures.

So I decided to try any remove the useless scope from the Direct Hit, with transparency.
I finish making the scope transparent, and load it up in game, and realized that the model absolutely sucks without it.
Do you think I should continue with it?

yea, its just a funny looking tube now.
Maybe if someone reinstalled the old rocket launcher sight (the floppy thing) or spiced up the texture some how.
Or even maybe some variation on

Ah yes, sorry. After clicking the diffuse box, go to bitmap. And the only way I know how is using Texporter, and it works.
I Have a request. Can someone make models for unlockable weapons for soldier (except Buff Banner) to replace the default ones? And if possible to make even the Scottish Resistance for normal sticky launcher?
