You can get a vintage hat for 4 keys. You'd be pretty lucky to get an unusual.

keys only really go for 1 refined 1 - 2 rec. It's incredibly hard to get them for 1 refined each.
Open a crate 9 with the keys, they are real lucky. I opened a second expecting paint, got an Unusual Glengarry Bonnet with Purple Plasma. Then I thought about trading, then I realized that it's the best hat ever and I will give it a home and cherish and feed it shit like paint and tags. Fun together FOREVER!

Well..obviously..you should give me the metal..which I will trade for 3-4 keys..then I will open crates and donate every hat/paint I get from them. (unless it's an unusual. If I got an unusual I'd donate several other hats)

I'm currently in the middle of a drawing contest. Now, you may be wondering what's the prize, right? The prize is a choice between two keys or a backpack expander, and the lucky runner-up will recieve the prize you didn't choose. "But who am I drawing?" you might ask. Well, there's actually three options for you.
First, you can draw Winona (saw this coming, didn't you?) for me. And no, not the singer or the city, I know at least one of you would pull that shit on me.
Your second option is to draw [sp]Eve[/sp] from LittleBigPlanet 2. (spoilered so Jiggmin doesn't rip my guts out or something)
And, if you have no artistic merit at all, your last option is to draw Captain Viridian from VVVVVV.
If you want to enter you have to PM me your drawing of whatever character you decided to do (I expect to have a lot of viridian in my inbox soon). 6 days or so from now, January 30th, this contest will close.
