Did any of you guys do the engie's new shotty animations?
I was bored and thought about two items. One is a shotgun replacement and another is a new Medigun. Mannbine (Mann's Carbine) It would look like a cartoony version of the M1 Carbine but it would be stockless. It's rate of fire would be like 25% slower than the pistol, would deal 22 Damage per round, Mini-Crits 25 and Crits 30. It would have a Magazine size of 10 rounds and carry 30 rounds total (2 spare Magazines.) I thought of this as a mid to long range alternative to the mid to close range shotgun. The Krankenschwester (Nurse's Medigun) This would be a medigun that assists other medics by either accelerating their ubercharge and/or giving their ubercharge to other medics. So when the medic using the Krankenschwester is healing a medic it accelerates their ubercharge by 10-15%. It also charges the medic who is wielding the Krankenschwester ubercharge at a 30% slower rate than a regular medigun. It's stats would be a 20% faster heal, 25% more overheal, and it ubercharge only adds charges to other medic's ubers. (It adds 50% to a friendly medic uber meter) This medigun is meant to be used as a team work medigun. I just want to know you guys think I'm not going to be a retard and send this to Gabe or another valve employee in hopes of them adding it. Just want some criticism.

So I have the most recent ones from right before they changed them. Just so you know, I inspected mod_textures and they did indeed use ALL of the new icons seen in the file. Maybe you just didn't notice it in-game. I also noticed that the only icons they actually used out of the "v2" file are the new valve-made ones, so in order to get the old icons working again, you'll have to transplant them over into the new texture rather than just replace it with the old file outright.

Nasty icons done from a while ago since I was planning to have them out earlier, but I got caught up doing these damn bucket icons. Fancy Vs. Nasty will be in the next update at least, as well as some more blue icons. Now that it's no longer "secret" (really, it looks like very few people bothered to check what the secret was :v:), I've been getting a lot of great responses about it so I guess I'll continue putting those out. Valve's format is really, REALLY terrible and it does NOT like the angle my icons point at. I've been trying and trying to find a way to do some script editing and just make it use the unlockable item format for all buckets, but to no avail whatsoever. I can't find it anywhere. So I'm about to just give up and do it the terrible way. I can't promise they'll look really great, but at least it's something. I'm thinking about shooting Valve an email about just changing it themselves in a future update; by that I mean just make default weapons use their loadout icons. Then everything will be solved!

I'm thinking of starting a project of adding LOD's to every current C_ model weapon ingame now because all of them have none, its very annoying having shit with 9k polys being rendered at full detail no matter what the distance. How many ranges do you think would be ideal for this anyway?
