Release 7 - New Toys Edition (7/10/10)
- Added Steam Community avatars to the voice chat IDs, ala the CS:Source update!
- Fixed up the TargetID health to look less awful
- Readded and altered the little "you can grab this" icon.
- Moved the TargetIDs lower.
- Properly FrankenHUD-ised the Engineer's new Revenge Crits counter.
- Fixed the Arena player count placement. It's back down the bottom now.
- Tweaked the Quick Switch panel. Now it fits all the Demo melee items without scrolling or cutoff.

I cannot make it go away, things like making worldmodel go away are hardcoded.
Also I cannot move it to right (from back view), it would cause more clipping than now.

No, the Gunslinger means almost everything was ported to the c_models because of it's bodygroup, but i'm not sure about the other melees.
Requesting Kestrels eyepiece for the spy. Kestrels' from splinter cell conviction btw. Have it replace the spys gibus if possible :D

They tend to have a lot of unused space on the right (fan, natascha, pistol) or cut (wrangler)

I updated NeoDement's mod so that his icons overrides Valve's new ones (FAN, Natascha etc). I didn't do the cut ones because Neo hasn't done them yet.

Also, the Gunslinger icons have a lot of space left over on the right as well.
Man I'm so interested in doing some of those Gunslinger replacements, espicially the metal hand Ash wore in Evil Dead II because I love that movie so much.
Also I know it's late but congrats NeoDement for getting those kill icons in the game they're sooooo much better than anything Valve made, even the current new ones feel lazy.
But I like the fact the FaN and Natascha are identifiable by kill icon now.

Wasn't it a chainsaw? Chainsaw would make sense for the killtaunt (of which Engie has 2?)

Yes, but in the third film he also got a metal hand, IIRC.
A chainsaw would be like the drill, it would have to transform back into a hand to function well with other weapons and such. :v:
Anyway, Drax, if you want to make that metal glove thing, could you do like I said and make it sort of team coloured (BLU=steel, RED=bronze or something like that)?

Yes, it was in a pyro video I once saw. It was high quality and stuff, however it might not have been contributed.
Tried to make the "improved" bodygroups model for Engineer compatible with the gunslinger.
Failed utterly.
So I just emailed Robin to see if they are going to update the SDK files with the new things like animations, medal bones and Engie's gunslinger/glove bodygroup. That would make my life easier, but I somehow doubt it :(

Well, I was kinda refering to that too, to include not only these new things but also all the things left out from the other updates. The SDK is incredibly outdated in that regard.

Actually I'm doing a fix for valve's killicons that cuts the unnecessary space and (hopyfully) adds the Medic taunt.
I did the d_images part, now doing the dneg_images.

I think it would be pretty cool.
Solution for other weapons? Switch the way he holds the other guns to the left hand. And alter the drill's location so it doesn't clip too bad.
Clipping is unavoidable in the guitar taunt though...
