Should add a big fluffy Australian mustache to his face from the effects of being near australium.

It's a joke isn't it so I meant it looks good for what you're trying to do.
I'm trying to be nice :(
no worries then

Crossing my fingers that I can actually get it to go into TF2.
Use Milkshape 3d to make the model ready for compiling, Blender has broken SMD import tools.
Use Milkshape 3d to make the model ready for compiling, Blender has broken SMD import tools.
Every time I tried to import a SMD into Milkshape it crashed...
I made the changes ScarC suggested to the helmet part of my Medic TFC Hat, it's now smaller but has a wider rim.

It's looking nicer, maybe it should be a little tilted back though (front tilted up), to make the straps look better adjusted?
Hmm I compiled it and have TF2 running, but the in game gun hasn't changed...
I have the models in
team fortress 2\tf\models\weapons\v_models
That is correct right?

Only problem is that this hat would take up both the hat and misc slot, hence why Valve haven't accept any full head contributions.
Well, send the mask as a misc then, and the helmet as hat. I'm not even sure if he's gonna submit it.
Did anyone have the idea for a pistol replacement for the engineer that gives him the laser pistol thing from TFC? Because, if not, I need to learn modeling.

Pistol uses a c_ model now.
Pistol uses a c_ model now.
What's a c_model?
Only problem is that this hat would take up both the hat and misc slot, hence why Valve haven't accept any full head contributions.
If I were to submit it I would submit each part seperately. The mask a misc and the helmet as a hat, anyway I've finished Unwrapping it.
What's a c_model?
c_ model is the new system valve brought in with the scout update, its where the world model is used as the view model.
So you only need to replace the world.
Oh cool really I don't get how that works but do you mind describing how it does so when I get round to doing some Gunslinger replacements I know what the hell I'm doing.

So the v_model isn't used and the w_model is what is actually being used?
How about "Orthodontic headgear" /braces for scout?

You'd need to decompile the c_model of the engie arms first. The gunslinger doesn't have it's own model.
So the v_model isn't used and the w_model is what is actually being used?
No.
You need to replace c_pistol.
No.

...would a quick rename work?

Ok, thank you

I think so
...would a quick rename work?
Not always.
Oh right the gunslinger is simply a replacement of the actual Engineer hands, I see.
Not always.
Nope, didn't work. Changed it to
team fortress 2\tf\models\weapons\c_models\c_pistol and renamed them to
c_pistol* didn't work.
I'd like to see a Power Glove replacement for the Gunslinger, a Super Scope replacement for the Frontier Justice, and an Atari joystick replacement for the wrangler. That way I can be the Angry Enginerd.

A laser scope hat and a power pad cape would make him the suited up Angry Enginerd.
Even better would be a R.O.B. mini-sentry.

He's gonna take you back to the past,
To build some mini-sentries and fast.
He'd rather have, a stupid Spy,
Place a thousand sappers right in his ear.
He'd rather eat, the rotten Sandvich,
Of a burnt Heavy and down it with beer.
He's the angriest Engie you've ever heard,
He's the angry Dispenser nerd,
He's the angry Tele & Sentry nerd,
He's the angry, Engineer...
NERD!!
Wow, that took a while.
