My Kinda stupid Engineer unlock idea - Games

Isn't this weapon pretty much the same as the pistol?

It's useable as a scout because you have speed on your side and you usually use it to finish off a weakened foe before reloading the scattergun, but for the engineer it's just crap.

It is against anything with more than 50hp.

Just give him a break action hunting rifle, similar to FaN, but with a bit longer range and lower damage (Would help push people away from the sentry)

How about a rope like those ones cowboys use to sling around another person, the Engi would drag the target towards his sentry to let it kill the guy?

I personally don't like the idea of a long ranged weapon for the engineer, because not only would we have to worry about sniper and ambassador spies sniping us, but engineers as well. Sure I want something to make the engineer a little more offensive, but that's just TOO offensive. I also don't like the idea of a guitar as a wrench replacement, a want valve to buy the blowtorch a guy modeled for team fortress 2, THAT would be awesome.

umm ammo is never a problem for the engineer. He can just sit beside his dispenser all day

He can carry 200 bullets.

I think the Engi likes smooth jazz, he needs a saxaphone :)

I've always thought that the engy would be badass with a good old fashioned winchester rifle straight out of a western, just give it similar stats to the spy's revolver seeing as it'd be firing slightly slower but with a larger capacity.

Just because it's a bolt action rifle doesn't make it a sniper rifle. It'd be the kind of rifle people have on farms.
