Alright, I've got my critiques.
Heavy - Heavy doesn't really feel like a Merc here to me. Male Heavy has a huge Ammo belt slinged across his chest, along with a massive kevlar vest thing. FemHeavy has no ammo, a puny little minigun, and a comically sized vest.
Scout - I get that you're trying to make the classes different. I get that. But simply copying the Demoman and making him the scout isn't especially different. Also, the kilt is strange. I dunno. Something about it.
Engineer - I actually kinda like this one. Something about it just kinda works. As some before have said, a little bit to "busy" on the model. As I'm sure you've seen, all 9 original classes are fairly simple.
And these aren't the worst fem classes. Keep in mind THESE exist.

Ludicrious. Oversexed characters that wouldn't last a second in combat.
I think the reason ChemicalAlia's designs are so popular, is that they are similar and have the feel of the Original 9, but have unique things that seperate them.
Also, gonna leave this here. It might not be 100% relevant to these 3, but it's a guide of sorts.

And finally, my favorite fem Class TF2 picture ever.
-Sexy as all hell, but not oversexed
-Retains a lot of the Original Scout's design
-Still has a unique feel
-Did I mention sexy
Yeah, these are good.
I only wonder what the female classes would look like with the hats though. Imagine that female Scout with the whoopee cap or something.

I would imagine if someone would go through the trouble of making a female model, something to expand on would be to feminize their hats.
I.E. - Female Spy's fez
Bill's hat would be thinner, gibus would be a little bit smaller and with a larger brim, halo would remain the same, etc.
These are the worst designs ever. I think the FPSBanana/GameBanana female skins look much better than your "concept art".
Thanks! I'll be sure to keep at it, and keep posting what I come up with.

I like that they gave us a look at the design process, too. I may not like how reskinned models look, but at least you can see the thought process that went into the design.
Oh, and good call with Chuckie, but my Fem Heavy's face was based on the Scary Paula Deen Look, partially because it's bad enough that the woman COOKS FOOD like she's trying to kill you with it, but then she gives the most horrific death glare on her cover shots.
Case in point:

And besides, the Heavy seems to have this same crazed look on The Orange Box...

...except his is actually meant to scare you, whereas you don't know what to think with Paula.

Edit: Lol hi biodude
Okay, I think I see some resemblances between Paula Deen and the Heavy but I guess you should remove the scars on your Fem Heavy. Scars are fine but there's just something that's absolutely scary about your Fem Heavy. Oh and make her less fat. Heavy may have a pot belly but his legs are not that... fat.

Paula Dean's infamous soulless grin. Thanks for the nightmares.
Oh good lord, first time I saw that FemHeavy I tought it was that inflation fetish.
Silhouettes are very important and yours don't read well, character design is quite tough and you need to look at other examples of character concept art (not just TF2)
And secondly you're attitude is really, really, poor, not saying that gives anyone the right to be a dick in turn but the constant sarcasm just makes you no better than them. You have to develop a thicker skin regarding peoples comments about your work, Not everyone has been nice to me about my work too. Even other peoples opinions phrased politely you don't seem to take well because they conflict with your grand design.
The best advice you'll get at this stage is work on your fundamentals, anatomy, perspective, etc you need a better understanding of these before you can tackle something like this effectively. That means studies!

I like the hood. It's a nifty replacement for the ski mask. Personally I like the first one, because I think it fits the "middle of the century" theme of the game the best. The third one looks a little too much like something Soldier would wear, if that makes sense, and the second one I think shows too much of her face. The hood over the tops of the eyes makes her look a little more mysterious and*I think that's what you want for the Spy.

Brushed up on proportion and I realized I had been measuring the legs out wrong, which a few of you guys tipped me off on. If anyone's wondering why the arms are so long, it's because lots of people told me to give her more upper body strength, so I lengthened the arm and hand out by half a head. I removed the crazed expression, the pose and the weapon and just focused on the basics.
I kept the enormous hips and thighs because as I said, I wasn't planning on changing that, but I think the big arms help to even her proportions out a bit.
Besides, I still like the idea of Female Heavy being an inversion of the male Heavy.
NEXT STOP: COREL PAINTER.
Edit: I know the resting arm looks shorter, but I had to bend it a bit so it could rest against her hip. Trust me, I mapped the arms out in heads before I drew them.
Edit 2: Haha, wow Biodude. When you hold a grudge, you really hold a grudge. He mad.

Well, thanks for the advice. You're right, longer arms does make balance out her legs. I'm quite pleased that you removed the scar close to her mouth. She also looks much less of a psycho now (which is a good thing, in my opinion.)
You guys are all gonna hate me... wait, most of you do anyway.
But I kept the design for the Scout. I dunno, I liked the design. Hell, she doesn't have to be the Demoman's daughter or whatever. It wouldn't break my heart to omit that aspect of her character.

Removed that ridiculous miniskirt. Don't know what I was thinking, but I liked the short pants on the Scout design Chew Chew posted, so I swapped 'em out for those.
Next is the engineer. I'm going to be taking quite a bit more out of her design than I did with the Scout, as per your critiques.
Heavy seems to be the hardest class for people to feminize: Everyone seems to either get this idea that you have to be obese in order to carry a minigun and go completely overboard with the fat, or they just say "fuck it" and make a person who would be completely useless with a minigun that wasn't mounted.
If you really have that much trouble imagining someone who uses a minigun and isn't cartoonishly obese, try using the TFC Heavy as a reference instead of the TF2 one. Just don't go overboard with the muscles, either. You don't want to make her look like she's on steroids.
Thought I'd share some interesting concepts with you guys that I just found.

I really like this design, and I'm willing to admit that it's way smarter than my Heavy design. It retains the body type of the Heavy while still giving the character a more feminine appearance. Also, we both had the same idea for the bandolier to become a belt.

I cannot for the life of me think of an idea for the Medic, and it sucks when someone else comes up with an idea that I didn't consider that is both simple and brilliant at the same time. It's kind of a departure from the male medic's silhouette, but from a distance you'd still be able to tell that she's a medic. The nun habit also gives her a unique look (although I thought it was a hijab for a moment), and the fact that it's designed based on something from the dark ages implies she might have a sadistic streak like the male medic.

My personal favourite FemEngie design.
All Fem class designs should be like this. This design has nearly the exact same silhouet as the normal Engie, you'd only recognize her as a female when you're really close. Which is good so it won't be too distracting. Since we have the Medic, Scout, (Heavy too, right?) and now recently the Spy aswell, I'd say we should get this done as a pack and ship it to Valve for a huge amount of dosh.

I'm saying 'we' as in 'our modelers'. I'm not including myself because I can't model organic stuff.
[editline]13th March 2011[/editline]
Also Dippy, your femheavy is so terribly obese it's just not funny. The Heavy isn't. I dunno if you ever look at that 'Strongest man in the world' tv programme, but if you'd take a close look at these guys, you'd see they're all muscles and not necessarily fat. I assume Heavy would be the same, since his arms are indeed quite beefy.
If you were to make your femheavy look muscled instead of straightout obese, I guess I'd like your designs a bit more. Apart from the face, because that's just fubar'd.
I remember coming to this thread a week ago.
I saw the thread's title again and immediately started cracking up from remembering the female Heavy's face.

Alot of these are actually quite good. Makes me wish I had proper drawing skills or means on which to draw.

I really liked that Engie design, it looked ready to be modeled and put in the game without any necessary alterations.
I really liked that Engie design, it looked ready to be modeled and put in the game without any necessary alterations.
All we need to do is to find a willing modeler and ask the artist if she'll allow it to be modeled.
