Benleycyborg used to play a game similar to that. He'd offer me one then crush me
He just outright asked me to give him free stuff.
I never even got anything like that.
I found a Boston Basher just yesterday, I was annoyed.
I come onto Facepunch today.. oh glorious day.
I found a Degreaser the day before.
I am back oh look they added the recipe might as well scam some hats.
Just wondering.
Can you find these "new" weapons?
I seriously wonder how the TF2 economy will be in 6 months. Maybe Valve will pull out "craft an unusual with 12 refined" and utter chaos and madness will tear the Steam forums apart, literally causing a dimensional rift not unlike the events in Half-Life 1.
Eventually the TF2 economy will reach a point where it will very neatly divide the community int normal players and downright idiots.
What will happen is we will reach a crucible point where valve release something that on paper looks so stupid nobody would consider it but due to it being entirely optional there wold be no rel reason to hate it.
From that point three things would happen.
First off a group of the community would quit the game forever complaining about how TF2 is ruined and they never want to play it again (and the mean it this time)
Second, the people who didn't leave will play the game as normal, forming groups and server of people who just want to play the game. they will carry on as if nothing ever happened.
But the third event would be the fastest and most dramatic of the three. Based on this new idea all the scum and all the shit that is pooling around the ankles of the TF2 community will rise up and create vast amounts of servers. These will be filled with all the 12 year old's and all the scammers and all the other bullshit of the community. In their servers they shall thrive and in their servers they shall fester.
All this time, I and many others like me will be making notes, taking names, watching, learning, planning...
Then shall come a time when we are ready and on that day we will step fort and visit these servers, we shall exact harsh vengeance in the for of co-ordinated grefing and trolling the like of which no server has ever seen.
And when we return the video we leave will serve as a beacon of hope to all those who find themselves lost in the darkness of TF2.
Either that or just make a list of halfway decent servers.

yet another update that does not concern me in any way
Holy fuck the axe words wonders in medeval mode. Only thing that ever killed me was that fucking huntspam and Demoknight.
Actually! I don't hope to sound like a jerk BUT the few times I ever played the Medieval mode I racked up quite a few kills with only the aluminium bat as a scout. Ended up in top three in few matches with ease. It swings very fast
Normally when I play Medieval mode I play with Gunslinger :v: It's pretty hilarious
I'm getting those weapons. I honestly don't care about metal anymore since I've got all hats I wanted, somehow I keep ending up with no metal at all. Probably because I tend to craft weapons.

Actually, even though you say you don't mean to, but every time you start talking about how you rack up kills and how you have elite mad skills or whatnot you come off as this dick waving douchebag. We get it, you think you play good, ok.

Yeah... but not really, i'd never imply that i had any elite mad skills or whatever tbh i don't really care about skill. But that's beside the point really, most talking here is just trading, hats, Unusuals and bla bla fucking bla.

i'd love to see this happening, few idiots trying to fit 12 refined in 8 slots
perfect plan
As I was messing around with the Lava Fragment, I couldn't help feeling like mini-crits on burning players would have made the weapon a heck of a lot more useful. You could combo with it in medieval mode, and it'd be kind of like a mini-axtinguisher. And in real play at least you wouldn't feel like a total noob.
I think the two weapons are lost causes in regular play. Scout and Pyro already have too many useful melee weapons to really have them find a good niche. But I think with some minor tweaking, both could be pretty fun in medieval mode.

No way man!
God forbid metal having an actual value ;o
Did they make it one refined just so it's harder to get it, so that those who bought it don't feel so bad?
Suddenly,
degreaser, powerjacks, everywhere...
Suddenly,

6 stout shakos.
Holy shit, 3 reclaimed and a refined. I hope those weapons are good.
Holy shit, 3 reclaimed and a refined. I hope those weapons are good.
The axe seems like a really fun weapon. The stick... I don't know, maybe it'd be useful when teamworking with a pyro
the stick seems pretty usless without teamwork and everyone know there is no such thing as teamwork in tf2
Those weapons are too situational to be worth the craft at the moment
axe is good in medieval, sucks in real play, stick sucks everywhere
the stick seems pretty usless without teamwork and everyone know there is no such thing as teamwork in tf2
I always encourage teamwork in public play
When you manage to ambush Sentry nests with a spy it is pretty awesome.
"Sentry Ahead!" "Help me!"
"Battle Cry!"

Wonder how long it took for you to realize this..
Does it even have the faster swinging like the aluminium bat, which imo definitely reigns supreme, even if only for the further humiliation it provides when used to execute off your enemy. I like it!
At least you can taunt with the axe.
I don't have the stick so idk if you can.
