Not the items removed, not VAC ban, fucking disabled" was shocking, so I asked those questions. Honestly, what if someone was like "Rift looks fucking cool, I gotta check this out!" And then a week after ordering says "Wait a second, this is an MMORPG? Fuck that, I want my money back." So they get their account canned because of that? What if you did that with a game that DIDN'T give you stupid items in another game? "Well I was going to preorder Homefront, but then as more news about what the game was going to be about I got really discouraged and canceled my preorder, and then Steam canned my account!"

Turns out it uses your currently equiped flamethrower. In this case, the video I watched, he had the degreaser equipped

1) The recipe to craft them is probably gonna be fucking expensive and require an abundance of metal
2) People who buy the game are still getting an exclusive game-changing advantage for the next four weeks.
3) Chances are, the weapons are going to be craft only, which means it'd be rare since you can't find it in drop systems.
I think they should have done it this way: The two weapons get their own recipes and are put in the drop system right away as if they were normal new weapons being added, however, pre-ordering Rift would give you a "unusual" versions of these two items, possibly with a fire particle effect since it fits the weapons.[/QUOTE]
Mother fucking agreed, dude. That would have been really cool and probably worth the 50 bucks.
The other thought on top of that would be to release two non-Rift styled weapons right next to these that gives the Scout and Pyro new weapons with the same effects.
Oh well, I can go four weeks without playing TF2.
Maybe the old promotional items will be droppable/craftable and the original ones will become genuine.
I want to know what will happen when vintage and genuine will be on the same item.
