The demoman is absolutely invincible now. - Games

A LOT. Unless you: adapt you loadout, know when to retreat, and work with your team. You shouldn't be soloing ANYONE in this game. You are dying simply because you have no backup/people to combine firepower with. I, and many people ITT have no problems killing Targe/Eyelander demos. Most people dont. YOU are obviously doing it wrong.

Now he's a competitive class and people take him seriously.

Maybe it's the sherry going to my head, but I'm beginning to suspect this guy is trolling all of us, and doing it well, judging from how we (including myself) are taking him seriously. I've not met many people who can ignore so much logic and still believe their point is valid without trolling.

Just wait for the update to die down. Then there won't be so many charging demo's. It only seems bad because most sides will have 4-5 demo's.

The demoman can't oneshot any class except with a charge and no random crits is a big downside to the weapon, also you shouldn't let a demo get over 4 heads at all. A smart pyro can counter by firing and strafing around the demo. A heavy with natacha can root a whole charge, rendering it useless, you gotta learn to counter it.

Demo with all 4 heads with all the bullshit unlocks becomes harder than he should be to kill.
