When Valve eventually makes the Spy Mask a Misc item (which we all know they will) I imagine an unusual of it will be worth a TON.

Today I decided to play Monday night Combat instead of TF2, both games were uptaded, valve added new weapons, hats and fixed some bugs, and ubber added two costumes avalaiable for everybody and adjusted some gameplay stuff
I tried the new costumes on MNC and I noticed that ubber added new taunts for them, "cool" I said, and then i look at Tf2, the katana uses the same animation has the showel, I know that the items were contributed by LaroLaro (and now He's swimming in a pool full of dosh) and that most of the valve staff is working on Portal 2, but Why they can't take some hours to work on new animations? yes is a free uptade, and you can craft and find via random drops the weapons,and valve is making money by selling those items in the store, they can easily make some animations for the soldier, look at ubber, yeah they are only working on monday night combat, but those costumes are free and they bothered on making and adding it

Bigger companies have other projects to do and don't have time to do animations I'm guessing. Something along the lines that a smaller company has more time to do little extras like that because nothing else is really needing to be done.
Maybe they'll eventually sort out a pipeline so the community can submit animations to them

In all honesty, not the worst update.
We did get new items that aren't exclusive. The weapons are actually fairly interesting and original ideas, and well, okay the hats look like shit.

Hey, got the kunai and tried it out.
It adds a little challenge to playing spy (actually big, engineers can one shot you). It's very nice when you backstab an engy, it gives you a chance to sap if you're slow and also a bit of security when backstabbing a crowd because instant 175 health with every backstab is awesome.
I just swapped some files to check out how the Oni mask would look as a misc:
