In light of Scream Fortress 2014, what was the worst update?

That was my very first update I got to experience as a matter of fact; I remember the chaos of all the soliders and demos running around and the scramble to take the class slots first.

Don't you remember how long it took for maps to load pre Steampipe? Having to load a map for the main menu was awful and took way to long.
Oddly I never had that feature on mine. It was always background pictures.

mannconomy update also brough a fuckton of bugs and glitches that made the game umplayable for weeks.
Pretty much every update I felt was very good and at least didn't affect gameplay too much besides new weapons and the occasional new balances.
There is one patch I hate now, and I have a sore spot for. And it wasn't even the update itself, it was the community's reactions.
The horrifying demo-heavy-pyro nerf of 2014. The thing is, when I went to check out new demo/heavy/pyro, I barely noticed any change. The demo killed things slower, but other then that the other nerfs weren't all that bad. The community just made a fucking mountain out of a molehill. Just endless circlejerking about people wanking how the competitive scene is ruined when they don't even play lobbies. People seriously threatened to quit because of how airbursting wasn't a tactic anymore. And the heavies still wank about it to this day.
The pyro nerf was great, axetinguisher is still viable in comp and pubs. The heavy nerf wasn't the best, but it did'nt ruin the class. In fact, I'd argue the heavies and pyros got a massive buff because of how the demos were nerfed.
But then, the demo nerf was rolled back. But NOT the heavy and pyro nerf. Because of this, the pyros and heavies were nerfed while the demo got a buff due to the fact the only other two classes besides sniper that had a chance of reaching up the dps ladder was nerfed.
Sorry for the huge rant, but competitive was not really affected by this. So airbursts did about 30 dmg at medium range. That's still like a 5th or 6th of someone's health. The heavies and pyros weren't really affected at all, and could still do their job. And the axetinguisher is still viable, as I said. It's just a bunch of pubstompers sad that they couldn't m1-m2 through the nearest valve server, killing people who literally just got the game.
