Please have Eggman remove or modify Vagineer. He is absolutely useless against sentries and the whole fact that Vagineer is in it is extremely old and unsatisfying now.
Vagineer should have massive reduction from pushback in sentries. Since, you know, he is a strong ass engineer.
Although Vagineer remains my second favourite Hale-Boss
HHHJ should also get reduction from pushback from pyros.
You have [b]no[/b] idea how fucking annoying it is for hale when all a pyro has to do is just get near a dispencer and reflect if he is the last of two alive (engineer is alive but not shooting, to avoid building up Hale's stamina. This way, he could be pushed into a death zone such as a hole)

Well I was going to make a megathread on this. In it would provide a background story.
Sentry knockback is fucking ridiculous for Hale
So we were playing this map with all these changing corridors. I went Sniper and I proceeded to waltz around on my own, when suddenly the rooms shift and I'm alone.. in the same room as the Vagineer. I proceeded to kite like a boss and escaped from the Vagineer's wrench by ducking under a wall just before it changed.
Sometimes this mod makes you feel awesome.

The Lethalzone matches carry on too long , and with only 5 rounds i rarely get to play as Hale.
Regardless, great concept and fun to play.

On the Egyptian style map, (not the vanilla one) a l3 sentry pinned him against a pillar and he was killed in seconds :buddy:

I just got raged at in a server for being a tactical hale and picking them off slowly :doh:
Vagineer could use a bunch of changes to make him not so useless once players get dug in somewhere awkward to reach, and in general changes to make him a good alternative to Hale.
Perhaps when he rages and goes uber, every sentry in the map is disabled as if it had been hit by a normal rage, no matter how far away vagineer is, his uber cutting out real quickly needs to be addressed too, as well as pyros being able to airblast him while invincible, should also give him a snappier super jump and a razorback like backstab immunity that blocks a single backstab attempt once, regenerates over the course of a minute.
HHHJ just needs to either be removed or changed a lot, his teleport ability is lame, nobody likes the random chance of dying without being able to do anything to fight back, and without a super jump he's just a really easy to kite waste of a round, I'm disappointed every time it's his round because you just know he's not going to be as effective as Hale or Vagineer, and there's a random chance you're going to die from a teleport, a high chance.
I reckon he should be given super jump back, have his teleport ability removed, and be given a charge ability like the Targe, can be used once every 10-20 seconds, and possibly he can enter a super jump from a charge for dive bombing into people. Charge is interruptible of course.
As for the problem of scouts who just run away forever, they aren't really much of a problem, a competent Hale can trick them into slipping up and catch them fairly easily, but I've thought of a few fixes anyway.
When there are below X number of people and/or the only remaining classes are scouts, their double jump is disabled as if they were using the early Sandman, most of the time they only manage to kite Hale forever because of their double jump, remove that and they'd be on equal grounds with Hale and forced to fight. Could also create a damage quota for them, damage amounts they have to meet when they're the last man standing in order to stay alive, so they can't just run, they have to fight, if they fight Hale will eventually get Rage and then it'll be over.
I think the airblast should contribute Rage to Hale, I know it certainly makes me rage, having a genius pyro just airblast you for no reason over and over again while there's no one around and all he's doing is wasting time, a pyro should only be using his airblast when it's necessary, to protect an engy, himself, or teammates, rage building up from being airblasted would go towards remedying this issue.
Also, instant death when you've got the Dead Ringer out and are at full health, why is this still an issue. D:

The thing about the sneaky hale is that it actually makes things a little more creepy an fun.
Perhaps add some kind of new "special" to mix things up a bit. This special can go invisible and has to rely on stealth and sneak tactics to be effective, perhaps this could be the spy variant of hale.
With a custom cloak watch with increased invisibility it would be able to quickly infiltrate a group and dispatch them covertly.
Perhaps even give it a custom YER that allows the use of the disguise kit for added tenseness.
The spy would be using something similar to the flame retardant suit at the cost of making him very suspect able to melee weapons, the idea being that if the spy is caught nearby you can quickly beat the shit out of him forcing him to back off. Meaning it would have to be very careful in how it plans it's approach.
now i know it sounds like i'm pulling next to impossible weapon ideas out of my hairy arsehole but i could probably re-create the weapons required using one of those game_item edits that are all the rage these days.
they should give him a custom icon which is set to use the Heavy fist icon, I'm killing enemies with my BARE HANDS, not a shovel

Sounds like 'The Hidden' gamemode.
I think most people have made the suggestion of adding the Spy to the game mode and giving him some of the abilities the default Spy had.
My version I proposed to a friend was that it was basically Hale, but as the Spy. He can cloak permanently, but he can't attack while cloaked, he runs at half his normal speed while cloaked and uncloaking telegraphs his location with the sound of the Dead Ringer.
He can kill people in one hit like other bosses, but only when he's not disguised, when he's disguised he can attack without dropping his disguise, but hits to the front of people do a third to half of the damage it would normally do, meaning for most people he'd need to land three hits to the front of them to land a kill, engies only taking two hits because they're valuable targets. Backstabs landed when disguised are instant kills and don't drop the disguise, dropping your disguise takes a couple of seconds to do to keep things fair, while disguised sentries won't shoot at you, you can still be bounced, but you can't be set on fire, but you can still be damaged by fire and although it won't show you'll take afterburn damage.
He can super jump, but I'm not sure whether it should be allowed while he's cloaked, disguised though, sure.
As for what his rage could be, either normal rage that can only be activated when he's not disguised or cloaked, or something more fancy, having everyone's models temporarily swapped for that of the spy's to make things really confusing, probably too much effort.
It'd be cool if he could wall jump like the Hunter from L4D, or stick to walls like in The Hidden mod, or both, don't know if it's possible though.
He'd probably need to have a percentage of his health decreased for balance.

Love this mod it's refreshing.
I think there should be a boss that is invisible, can attack when invisible but has only 75 health, when he attacks he will appear for a half a second.
